Great spot for both food and atmosphere. The quality outshines most Asian restaurants in the area, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend if you’re craving Vietnamese food. Staff are friendly and sweet.

Really enjoyed this little Vietnamese place that appears to be run by a young family - very nice people. I really like grilled eel, and they served up the biggest portion I’ve ever seen accompanied by a couple fried eggs over rice. Very tasty! Their house rolls were also uniquely seasoned and excellent. The decor was classy. It’s a BYOB, but there’s an SAQ liquor store across the street so I ran over and procured a delicious Spanish red. My only ding was the TV was playing cheesy karaoke music. Not a fan of TVs in the dining room, but that’s a pretty minor nit.

We visited Gaia Restaurant and ordered one of their combo meals, and it exceeded our expectations. The meal was incredibly generous and included soup, salad, spring rolls, rice with chicken, a fried banana dessert, and even a cup of coffee. The portion sizes were excellent, offering great value for the price, and every item was fresh and delicious. What made the experience even better was the outstanding hospitality. Both the server and the owner were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, the food, portions, and service were all fantastic. We had an amazing experience at Gaia Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Québec City. We will definitely be back!

Changing my review from 5 stars to 1 as I ordered on uber eats and the order was marked as "wrapping up" so no drivers were able to pick it up for over an hour and a half. When I called the restaurant to know what was going on they just canceled the order and were constantly talking over me, they did not want to understand or help me. It's really a shame as I had ordered many times before, but unfortunately the way I was treated was unacceptable and will be the last time I order.

Had a lovely friends gathering at Gaia. The service and food were great and the price reasonable. Also really like the BYOB concept. Everyone in our group of 9 chose from the combo menu and all were very pleased with their choice - from chicken, shrimp, beef or pork. I would definitely return!

We were a party of 10 with children for Mother’s Day and had great service and generous portions in the combo meals. I recommend this restaurant and bring your own wine makes it great and affordable. I love this family run restaurant.

Food is pretty good, reasonable prices, however the service is very slow and it’s hard to get the server’s attention. There were too many people for just one server.

My sister’s and I stumbled across Gaia’s restaurant! From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left we received 10/10 experience! The food was delicious and amazing portions. Everything we ordered was amazing! Highly recommend :)
