Coffee and pastries are excellent. Unfortunately they serve stale pastries. This obviously makes them easy money. But it’s not a way to keep customers. Update. Maybe I was a little rush to judgement. Anyway. Today I came back. And had the most delicious cheese and ham sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Will be back.

Hi Trev, I’m glad you found our coffee and pastries to be excellent. Almost all of our baked goods are baked and sold the same day. We do keep a few for a maximum of a second day: muffins, scones, tarts, cakes and cookies. We tested these extensively and found no loss of quality for that second day. If you or anyone have any issues with a product at Furley, we would hope you could just tell us in person. We would have been happy to refund or exchange your purchase. Happy new year!

I’m giving them only 1* because they advertise they closed at 7pm, yet when I arrived at 6:30pm they had already locked up. I try to support local but this is not the first time a local business closes early and causes us to drive elsewhere to get what we need.

My husband, toddler and I really enjoy their sandwiches. We've been several times on our way home from a day trip, and always enjoy their front terrace as our dog can join. We've tried a variety of their pastries and sandwiched, we've really enjoyed their Reuben and Piri Piri chicken. Not to mention their bread-products are also fantastic. Fair prices and quality ingredients. Thanks so much!

We were initially satisfied with this place. But everything changed for the worse when we dared to make an innocuous request during one visit. We were subsequently treated rudely, as if we were enemies of a precious establishment. Berated in front of other customers? Shameful stuff.
