This place blew me and my wife away. We live a few blocks over and decided to pop in. The food was absolutely insane. Service was really nice and attentive. Then they also played Nujabes and city pop all night. Fantastic vibes.

Having spent ten years working in the restaurant industry—specifically within high-end Asian dining—I tend to walk into new establishments with a naturally critical eye. However, my recent experience at this new family-owned Asian fusion restaurant completely blew me away. From the moment you step through the doors, the ambiance strikes a flawless balance between upscale sophistication and genuine comfort. The decor is stunningly high-end, meticulously curated with beautiful art and traditional Asian decorations that give the space a distinct, upscale character. Yet, despite the luxurious aesthetic, the vibe remains incredibly cozy, warm, and inviting. The familial service is spectacular; you can truly feel the passion, heart, and dedication that a family-owned business brings to the table. A special shoutout goes to the bartender as well—not only incredibly welcoming and nice, but clearly a professional who is highly skilled at their craft. The attention to detail behind the bar mirrors the excellent standards of the rest of the restaurant. They also shared that they will soon be launching a premium sushi and omakase experience. Given the exceptional quality of this visit, I am already eager to return and try their new offerings. Whether you are looking for a refined dining experience, top-tier service, or a fantastic drink, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Super friendly service (lovely family), amazing atmosphere, and genuinely great quality food. The menu is really interesting, portions are very generous (salads and scallop ceviche wow!), and everything we tried was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

The mention of the last airbender on the menu alone gives you a five stars😋 Jokes aside, everything was delicious! The cocktails were very nice and not too pricey. The salty, sweet sauce on the chicken wings is absolutely delicious and the tempura is good without being full of oil. The service was nice too👍

Fukuro is such a gem. The drinks are creative, the space is beautiful, and I love that it’s filled with art by local artists. The food is unique Asian fusion and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything. The charred edamame a unique smoky flavour, our little one loved the crispy tempura, and the foie gras sushi was so decadent and luxurious. The fried banana dessert was the perfect nutty/warm/sweet&crispy way to end the meal. Highly recommend.

The food was fantastic, the cocktails were amazing, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was well prepared, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again. I also can’t wait for them to open their sushi bar so I can try that out as well.

Amazing experience from start to finish!!! The restaurant is very clean and well organized, which immediately makes you feel comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal or a get-together with friends. The sushi chef is outstanding—the chirashi don was honestly the most delicious I’ve had. They also have jazz nights, which adds such a nice touch to the overall experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Papaya salad was amazing... Everything else that I tried as the. Tataki was plain and only taste like oil. The scallop ceviche also no taste the chips was the best part of the dish.Food is good but nothing spectacular for the price. Drinks are amazing. Service was great

Visited this restaurant for the first time two weeks ago for a friend’s birthday. We loved the decor and ambiance. We chose an assortment of dishes and cocktails to share. Everything was great! The highlight of the night for me was the service; the family who owns the restaurant was so kind and friendly. We appreciated their conversation and their attentive recommendations. When we commented on how tasty the pickled vegetables were, they offered us pickled jalapeños, which were incredible. They helped us take pictures, offered us shots, and even let my friend choose a song for her birthday. They were incredibly welcoming. You could feel how much they care about their restaurant. Would go back to Fukuro in a heartbeat!

This restaurant is a must-try, I know I will go back when I can!! I had the chance to meet the owners, and they are honestly some of the sweetest people. You can really feel the close family dynamic, which makes the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere is amazing—so warm and welcoming—and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
