The food was delicious! Worth stopping by!
The food is amazing with great customer service, highly recommend
Service was impeccable - friendly, fast and attentive. The food was amazing. Simple ingredients but big flavors.
This dish was so good, so tasty
Best dumplings I've had so far! Personally, I love how well the meat filling is stuffed into the dough. When you take a bite, you don't have a mess of juice spilling out. I think that makes the eating experience more enjoyable. I got the juicy pork dumplings and it was indeed juicy and flavourful. Service was also great. Our waitress was very welcoming, sweet and always checked on our group of 7 people. There are so many dumplings restaurants around Concordia... but this one is on top of my ranking!
If you’re craving authentic Shanghai food, this spot hits the mark perfectly. Every dish is packed with flavor and tastes just like the real deal. The service is also excellent, friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely a place I’d come back to anytime.
Very good thank you !!!! 😊
As a food inspector, I focus on authenticity, consistency, and execution and Fuchun truly stands out. The soup dumplings were exceptional, delicate wrappers, rich and flavorful broth, and perfectly seasoned fillings. Each basket came out fresh and steaming, showing great attention to timing and technique. The dumplings with sauce were just as impressive, well-balanced and packed with flavor. Beyond dumplings, the dishes were executed with precision, the noodles were savory and satisfying, and the fried items had a perfect crisp without being greasy. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The overall experience was clean, efficient, and consistent—exactly what you want to see from a well-run kitchen. If you’re looking for high-quality dumplings in Montreal, this spot is a must-visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Have been here over 10 times, great food, but could the owner hire more buzyperson. The waitress is working so hard, she’s literally running for every step, but still people are not getting served.
Fu Chun Soupe Dumplings is an absolute gem. The soup dumplings were incredibly fresh, delicate, and packed with rich, flavorful broth—easily some of the best I’ve had. The spicy pork Shanghai noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat and depth. Everything tasted homemade and authentic, and you can really feel the care that goes into each dish. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Great quality, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
Incredible dumplings
Excellent excellent excellent. We were so pleased with the food and service. Super sweet staff and house made Shanghai dumplings(get the juicy pork and the peanut sauce noodles🤤 super affordable too!
Delicious food at a good price. The noodles were nice and bouncy. The soup dumplings were meaty and the soup in them was flavorful. Will definitely come back 😋
I am really happy to find authentic shanghai resto in Montreal. The noodle is handmade ramen, wontons were very fresh, soup dumplings were hot and yummy. I hope they will make more noodle varieties like 炸醬麵,大鹵麵,雞煨麵,雪菜肉絲麵。The service was very good. I like this place a lot! I hope they will open one restaurant in the south shore.
Ordered the pork spicy noodles 拌面. Portion was small, pork overly salty and wasn’t spicy at all. Costs $18 and the lady forced you to tip despite the poor food taste. First and definitely my last time visiting this establishment.
First time and not disappointed.
Decent ambiance. Not the best soup dumplings or noodles but pretty good.
The best dumplings in Montreal! Pork and sweet pork, just amazing!
Delicious and really friendly service!
The flavors make me reminisce of food in china the attention to details in flavors has to be studied I would definitely come backed here!
Honestly food was very mediocre. Soup dumplings stuck to the paper and basket and broke before I could pick them up. Taste was alright. Service however was excellent! 5 stars ⭐️
Absolutely delicious. Hidden gem with authentic Shanghai flavours. Would recommend the scallion noodles (soy) and the beef pan fried dumplings. All of it was delicious. The spring rolls are very mushroom forward so if you don’t like mushrooms, I’d skip it. Great service. Friendly staff and the food arrives nice and hot!!
I leave here, a bittersweet review. I was looking forward to dining in this place, and make no mistake, the food wasn’t bad at all. The portions were alright, especially for the price. The flavour was there. Two people, small meals. As a foreigner from Europe, I’m not well accustomed to local tipping culture, as where I come from leaving those is rare - voluntary and completely service quality based. However, I do understand that it remains optional, unless of course you burden your waiter with a demanding, multiple person group and a plethora of orders. Not to mention, some people simply do not have the budget to generously tip for every bite sized meal they consume. To not waste anyone’s time - I cannot fathom why I was pressured into leaving a tip for a remarkably short and basic service. The male waiter appeared to take me not leaving one personally, which then led to quite the uncomfortable exchange between us, and this dispute would have dragged on unless my partner stepped in and left one. Needless to say I left the restaurant extremely uneasy. I understand that some may disagree with me. However, I found it extremely unnecessary and rather rude, especially over an order this small. To those seeking out to visit this rather cozy place, I suggest equipping yourself with an extra couple of dollars not to agitate the lovely mate the way I did.
Amazing! the staff here are so welcoming and nice! We talked with Lily and Tina and they were awesome! Only downside was when we got to pay, another staff member asked up front for tips as I clicked skip on the machine because I wanted to tip cash :/
