Very disappointing experience at Flantastique. I was really looking forward to trying their flan, but what I got was completely unacceptable. The top was severely burnt, with large black patches, and it tasted extremely bitter. Instead of a rich, caramelized flavor, all I could taste was burnt sugar. The bitterness completely ruined the dessert. For a place that specializes in flan, I honestly expected much better. I can’t believe something so visibly burnt and bitter was served to a customer. Definitely not worth the money. I won’t be coming back.

As a big flan fan, I have to recommend this place. They make some of the best flan I've had in Montreal! They offer several flavors, including the classic vanilla, crème brûlée, pistachio, etc, and they're all delicious. If you're a fellow flan lover, this is definitely the place to go!

This is a truly amazing place! The flan is just sooo good and the owners are both incredibly nice. When we first came we got the pistachio, praline and crème brûlée. It tasted so good that we had to go a second time to get seconds. This time we got vanilla, coconut and another crème brûlée as they unfortunately sold out of raspberry. Our rankings are: 1. Vanilla 11/10 2. Crème brûlée 10/10 3. Praline 9/10 4. Coconut 8/10 5. Pistache 7.5/10 -Framboise not tasted- The owners even offered us a free drink as it was super hot out when we came the second time and they caramelized the sugar for the crème brûlée on the spot! 10/10 would really recommend going, even if it’s just to support and say hi to the owners. Unfortunately I’m only here once a year so I can’t go every day but trust me I would.
