We walked in not knowing this was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and Mekone greeted us warmly. I had questions about the menu and despite being alone he took the time to explain everything to me. I asked if I could taste certain things before ordering and he let me! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! I dont even like mushrooms yet all the meat substitutes literally BEAT the real thing! I dont know if its the sauces or something, but it was truly an amazing food experience in a nice cozy place with perfect service. I will literally take a 30 minute detour to come back here anytime. 5*

We always visit the shop on Notre Dame in Lachine. The two gentlemen that work there are extremely kind gentle and work their butt off. Embarrassed I don't know their names but we always send love back and forth to each other when I am there . great place super food continued success

What luck! Accidentally found myself in a state of massive hunger in Lachine and wound up in the greatest plant based restaurant I’ve ever stumbled upon. The Shawarma and Mongolian grooves are insane, the eggplant is the best I’ve had in Canada outside of Armenian Resto in Toronto. Weekly trip to this totally tubular top spot

I have been going to the Falafel St Jacques in Ville St Pierre for years and have always enjoyed it immensely. This is the first time that I've visited the Falafel St Jacques in Lachine and I liked it even more because of the atmosphere and comfortable seating. I came with two friends at about 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. Of the Middle Eastern restaurants that serve similar fare, Boustan, Emir and Basha, the food here is, in my opinion, far superior.

Fabulously fantastic food, and the staff are truly superb. They are warm and welcoming and treat everyone like family. When you get home you feel like you’ve had a lovely day out. Ten stars out of five!
