I discovered Everest Momo through Dumpling Fest Montreal and it was such a great find. The service was exceptionally friendly, the Nepali food tastings were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Best momo in the town. If you want to try momo in montreal this is the place. Ambience is also good. Authentic Nepali taste. Les momos sont très bons

This is a very authentic Nepali Restaurant with variety of MoMo combinations and flavors. I had not expected a fully Nepali menu serving restaurant in the middle of Montreal and I must admit it exceeded my expectations. This is definitely a must go restaurant; try any Momo and Sekuwa.

Absolutely amazing food. Had gotten the tandoori momos and the veg chowmein. Was blown away. A little disclaimer, their regular spice level is indian spicy equivalent. Definitely will be revisiting. Update went back after 2 years and honestly still mindblown. So satisfied with their food. Got their thukpa with paneer momos- perfect for a rainy day, their veg chowmein- this was so good that we ended up getting another plate. Again as mentioned we went for mild spice and got their spicy sauce on the side to adjust to our taste. Would definitely recommend.

I used to have momo regularly when I was in Uae. I was craving…glad to found nepali restaurant here as I miss momo. Food was good even my picky husband liked his chowmien + momo. Will come back for sure!

Definitely nice food… all the three dishes that I had were tasty and awesome. Vegetarian momo, thupka with momo, chowmein. It had the right blend of flavours and spiciness I will definitely recommend to try.

We visited Montreal and were excited to try Nepali food, so we chose Everest Momo because of the 4.8 rating. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the high reviews. The didn’t feel like nepali restaurant quality. Honestly, normal home-cooked food often tastes better and more satisfying. We were quite surprised considering the rating. After looking more closely, I noticed some other lower reviews from people who seemed to have a similar experience. Maybe it was just an off day, but for us, it didn’t meet expectations. I hope they can improve the taste and consistency in the future.

It turns out Restaurant Momo is a local gem, I’m so happy I wandered into, simply because I was in the mood for momos. I’d tried momos while traveling in the past and loved them, so this was an absolute joy to discover so close to home. The steamed shrimp momos in a soup dish were so satisfying and flavourful on a chilly evening. On top of that, the service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. They have sushi, too! Highly recommended!
