Had a girls lunch here and as always, everything was awesome! Yona is the best! I’ve had so many different dishes it’s hard to say which is my favourite but The fish tacos are so on point! The perfect balance of crunch with the most tender fish…yummm the guacamole never fails! Every dish is beautifully presented and the margaritas are not only amazing (made fresh and not from a powdered mix!!) but are a small work of art👏👏👏 thank you for another wonderful experience.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back. I tried the wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The maple wings even came with a nacho. I also had a margarita and some shots. The entire experience was fantastic, from the beginning to the end. I also enjoyed the dessert and key lime. I had a great time and highly recommend this place. If you’ve passed by, definitely stop in!

Amazing tacos and definitely one of my favorite taco spots in Montreal! This was my second visit and both times were absolutely delicious and amazing. I tried the shrimp tacos, two beef options, and two chicken tacos everything was fresh, flavorful, and not heavy at all. Special THANKS to Earli for being so kind, cheerful, and professional. And THANKS to Eric as well, he was very welcoming and friendly, and even helped us with his recommendations. They both made the experience even better, even though the restaurant was really busy both times 💘

Amazing! Went for dinner on a whim and I am so glad to have stopped by. Jonah was very kind and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! The wings were so flavorful and loved the shrimp tacos! 10/10 would return again!

Came on Cinco de Mayo and the manager treated us amazing. Food was the best, service was amazing, and he even treated us to an extra shot on the house. Great atmosphere, definitely coming back.

Slow service with an inattentive server. She didn’t come by our table until 15 minutes after we sat down, and our drinks took another 25 minutes to come by. When the food came, the tacos were mediocre. It’s too bad - I feel like the quality has gone down since we were last here a few years ago.

Delicious steak and cactus tacos. Very nice bartenders. Great spicy margaritas Also very trustworthy staff as I left my purse behind by mistake and they held it safe until the next day. Highly recommend!

Great food. Their authentic tacos are good, their fusion tacos are also unreal. Not a cocktail on the list that isn’t fabulous. On top of that you can tell the manager really cares. Will be back every time we are in the city. Glad you guys expanded so that it is easier to grab a table (for now) ;)

The restaurant has great fusion Mexican vibes to it. The food tastes good but it could've been better, it's American Mexican, not traditional. The portions are really small, you really have to go with App, Salad, Tacos and Dessert to fill yourself.

A packed spot often means 👌for one reason or another. This place is all the reasons: atmosphere is awesome, decor is amazing, the vibe is pure enjoyment. The service is quick, friendly and non-intrusive and that is a fine line to balance. The food is why you'll come back, over and over again. FYI: the pollos hermanos tacos and the El Chapiflor are 🫠

I had such a great experience at Escondite Union, and a big part of that was thanks to Rita. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Even though she seemed quite busy, she never let it affect the quality of her service. She really knows what she’s talking about her recommendations were spot on, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. She checked in at just the right times without ever feeling intrusive, and her positive attitude made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s not often you come across service that stands out this much but she truly made our visit memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope to be served by her again

Yona and Charlie are the best servers and they were very friendly!!! Staff very aware of our needs and also i arrived way after my peers and they still served me food with great seevice!!! 10/10 fish tacos are increible also the churros is probably the best!!!

We had a great experience at Escandite Union. Tried a mix of tacos including the al pastor, chicken, shrimp, plus the Baja 2.0 and a mushroom taco…everything was on point. Flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. We also had guacamole with chips, cornbread, and a couple of margaritas…no complaints across the board. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Friendly, attentive staff who made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Good eats, great service…definitely worth a stop if you’re in Montreal.
