I finally visited this place yesterday and it was amazing. i took the crispy chicken benedict and it was a great. My waitress was Vanessa and she provided exceptional service and she was very kind and I would love to have her again when I go back.

What a nice brunch spot ! The food is perfectly delicious, generous portions, and the staff are really great, definetly coming back
Eggstatic offers a calm and spacious atmosphere with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly, and the food is tasty with lots of options. Our only hiccup was that one friend’s pancakes arrived after we had nearly finished our meals, but the waitress apologized for the delay. Overall, a very enjoyable visit.
Finally a Halal brunch spot. I will say the food is a 8/10 it doesnt 100% live up to toronto spot standards but it was good. the service is great and the food is served fast.
Great time at this new brunch restaurant in Montreal. Everything was amazing and the service was detailed, quick, helpful! Thank you Jade. Definitely will return soon.
Fun place! Fancy food. Jade our server was really good!
I go with my partner to have brunch in celebration of my birthday. I heard good things about the place from all the TikToks, and for cultural reasons I rooted for this business. Cue the disaster! We order 2 plates of food (pulled beef omelette and a sausage egg dish) and for dessert a nice stack of pancakes. We wait…and wait…and wait, we ask the waitress, and she does apologize for the delay and stresses that the place is busy. I appreciated her politeness, so we wait some more, something arrived finally. It was the pancakes, we received the sweet dish before the savoury :) What can we do? We eat it because we are hungry and borderline frustrated at this point. We wait for a further duration of 45 MINUTES till we lose it and stress on receiving our dishes, to which the waitress apologizes -again- and offers to pack our dishes as takeaway once they are ready (what kinda solution is that?!) The dishes arrive 10 minutes after that, and if I say that they were the most underwhelming dishes I have eaten in Montreal since my arrival to it I would not be exaggerating. Lukewarm food with medium portions and missing ingredients. We complain that my partner’s dish (the sujuk/sausage and eggs) is missing crucial ingredients listed in its description, her dish is taken and it gets cancelled from the check (pretty standard procedure) but she is not offered a replacement (she leaves hungry). To add insult to injury, we pay what I think is an exaggerated value and also asked to tip! I probably would never go again.
Terrible terrible experience!! I followed the hype on social media to try this place it honestly disappointed on all grounds. This is a reminder not to trust food influencers… I ordered two plates one sweet and one savoury. The sweet plate arrived 30 mins after I ordered and the savoury one came 45 mins late and it arrived half burned with one sausage as big as my smallest finger and missing some ingredients listed in the menu!!! I was so upset about how long it took the waitress offered for me to take the food « takeaway » who would take eggs takeaway anyway!! Terrible service! The fact that the sweet plate came before the savoury is a novice dining mistake! All what they did is not charge me for the savoury plate … Not to mention the food is really mediocre nothing special you are better off going to allo mon coco, Eggspectation, l’avenue or something else but not this place save yourself the disappointment…
not worth it at all, sure it’s aesthetic or wtv but the menu isn’t really clear. When I tried looking for photos to kinda understand what I was ordering I stumbled across their instagram and let me tell you, the food is nothing like what they promote. The portions were ridiculously small for the prices. Definitely not coming back.
My partner and I decided to try this place for the first time, seeing as it was newly opened. Got there, were seated and given water within seconds Ordered drinks, spanish iced latte and vanilla spiced latte. - Ice latte was good but very basic - Vanilla spiced latte on the other hand, did not look close to what was advertised. No top foam and the milk had the consistency of a flat white and tasted burnt. It was comped, sent back and switched for a iced matcha latte with cold foam. It did not have any foam but was good nonetheless (Coming from a barista) Drinks are a little overpriced, but where are they not these days? Onto the food; we ordered the beef hummus and the labaneh, both coming with fresh pita bread. Both were fantastic, the pita was a 10/10 as well. Then, we ordered the nashville chicken benedict and the mushroom & swiss beef sandwhich. - Nashville chicken benedict was good, large portions and they’re generous with the cuts of chicken. - Mushroom & swiss beef sandwhich was… decieving to say the least. The size the palm of my hand, looked like a frozen pack of a beef, there were no mushrooms and there was cheddar cheese instead of swiss. 18$ and no sides. Asked if I could switch it with the Halloumi and olive benedict, promptly told yes. - Halloumi olive eggs benedict were tasty, with generous portion sizes. Loved the combination if flavors, but not many olives in it. Still solid nonetheless Topped this meal off with the - Biscoff pancakes. EXTREMELY sweet, but good nonetheless. The ice cream somehow balances out the sweetness of the biscoff. This place has the potential, but the prices are exhorbitant and what they serve is not what is advertised half the time. Service was great though, Raphaëlle did a great job considering she was the only waitress. One of the bussers was generally extremely cold though, barely adressing us or being professional when taking our plates away. Also charging extra for MAYONNAISE is simply silly, I mean come on.
I came here with my boyfriend and it was unfortunately a pretty decieving experience. The service was pretty much on par. Our waitress Raphaelle was very nice and attuned to our requests and providing solutions for the issues displayed with the food. Our service was quite fast, but she appeared to be one of the only waitresses working, which would explain all the negative comments mentionning slow service. It is crucial to have enough staff to provide a good experience especially for a new restaurant. My main issue here is the food and drinks. It was incredibly hit-or-miss, and such inconsistencies will not assure good business. To begin, our drinks did not look at all like the displayed images, and were not good. The descriptions are deceiving. The spiced vanilla latte is completely unsweetened, and the milk was barely frothed unlike the pictures. Thankfully, they let us change our drinks which was nice, though the matcha was supposed to come with cold foam which it did not. The appetizers we took (labneh and steak hummus) were really good and the pita was delightfully fluffy, but the quality of the food pretty much stopped there. The eggs benedict (nashville and halloumi/olive) were nothing extraordinary, the potatoes were bland and the side salad was very random (grapes, honey mustard dressing and warm cooked cherry tomatoes?). We had initially taken a swiss mushroom pulled beef sandwich, but the portion size was so pitiful we changed it for something else. For 18$, it was not as it was advertized (no mushrooms and cheddar instead of swiss) and did not even include sides. Finally, the biscoff pancakes (27$) were ok and portion size ok (Griffintown prices) but left us feeling sick for how sweet they were. Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but they should either lower the prices, increase the food quality or change the descriptions of menu items on the menu. Maybe keeping their menu limited to the middle eastern dishes might be something to consider since it was the only well-executed dishes we ate, and it would be the only reason why we would recommend this brunch spot to anyone over any other. Two more criticisms: -Charging for regular mayonnaise is preposterous, they shouldn’t do that. -The lattes would look a lot better if they came in clear glasses instead of tinted ones.
One of the nicest restaurants I've visited in Montreal, and everything was delicious. They serve a truly amazing omelet with mushrooms and fresh spinach; Everything was fresh. I really liked the decor; I ate with great appetite and enjoyed the excellent service. The atmosphere was wonderful, with soothing morning music playing. I felt relaxed, and time flew by.
Yesterday i went for brunch with the guys , and it was my second time trying this place out. We were table of five and it was very busy but the staff were very friendly and organized and they tried their best to get us a table asap. We ended up waiting less than 10 min which honestly wasn’t bad for how busy it was. I ended up ordering the crispy chicken benny which was absolutely delicious. The presentation was 10/10 and the portion side was really good. When we finished our meal we met chef Abdullah who came up to us and introduced himself. You can tell that he really takes his job seriously and wanted to make sure we had a nice experience. I very much appreciate a restaurant that listens to its customers and can take constructive criticism.
The restaurant was nice, the atmosphere was very chill, and the food was new and different but super tasty. The portions were big and filling, the service was great, and the drinks were delicious.
My experience was very disappointing. Food arrived after 60 mins (system error in was told). Web menu is horribly formatted and very expensive for what you get. Manager never came to apologize or show appreciation for our patience. Go elsewhere ! The only positive thing was the kind and attentive waitress Leila.
Service lowkey sucked we genuinely sat there for 1h without even being asked for drinks… also the food is very mid. The drinks were good and the waiter that finally served us was very nice with us, I think his name was Alfred.
The restaurant is beautiful and well located. Unfortunately, it's poorly run. There was around 30-40 minutes between the first plat being served and the last two. Very low-staffed, and hard to find a waiter when you need something. Very dry chicken tenders. Steak & eggs weren't really good. The other food was so-so. More training of staff is required. They brought ketchup for only 1 of 3 kids. They brought coffee without milk or cream. They offered pancakes for the slow service and two comp'ed meals, but forgot to credit us for the two meals. We caught it and got refunded, but it took 10 minutes in front of the cash register to settle the bill. I hope they turn things around.
Great place, tasty food and excellent service
Great brunch spot with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food is fresh, well presented, and flavorful, with a good variety of options. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a nice brunch. A Must Try !
Had a reservation for 6 people Arrived on time ✅️ Was greeted and seated right away ✅️ Took 35-45 mins before someone came to take our order after we were seated...thats also after I spoke to one of the waiters to send someone because we have been waiting for a while. ❌️ Ordered the shakshuka and eggstatic steak and eggs with a vanilla foam matcha latte. ✅️ The shakshuka wasn't good, more tangy than anything and the bread (pita) that was given with it was not fresh at all, it was actually like hard rock. Asked the waiter to have it replaced after showing him and he agreed.❌️ The eggstatic steak and eggs barely had steaks and the potatoes were overcooked and bland.❌️ As for the vanilla foam matcha latte, it had be redone twice and it was still not good and didn't have any foam at all. More diluted in ice....this was removed from our bill at the end. I think people are just being super nice and not coming back or just deciding to keep quiet because theres not alot of halal brunch places or are just being fake with the rating.❌️ Overall, it wasn't a good experience for our group and we won't be returning. Maybe we were unlucky? Who knows. Give it a try and see for yourself.
One of the best halal breakfast restaurant in town .
This place is wonderful, and I highly recommend it for several reasons, most importantly the delicious taste of all the dishes and the variety of food. The place is spacious and clean, with a clear view of the city. The staff and servers are extremely polite and always smiling, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is family-friendly.
Absolutely stunning atmosphere with delicious food.
Worst service ever , tooo much of a wait , we had a reservation for 1:30 waited until 2:30 for someone to come take our order , waited until 3 to receive the food, which came in before the drinks , 3/4 plates were benedict eggs fully cooked no sign of a creamy yolk, ordered a balklava latte they brought it like an ice coffee to mention later that the barista forgot to bring the baklava syrup, and as cherry on top one of the plates had a hair on it , left by sunset
Eggstatic is an absolute gem for brunch in Montreal! We loved the creative twists on classic dishes and the authentic Middle Eastern options. I tried the Fahsa, and it was out of this world—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were exceptional, and the espresso was the best I’ve had in North America—just like in Italy! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we visited twice during our trip. Highly recommend Eggstatic for anyone looking for a unique and memorable brunch experience!
