Had a great experience here! The food and atmosphere 5 stars.
Reviews / Ratings for Eggstatic Montreal
We visited and was told that they were closed. Doors were open and there was actually someone dining when we got there. Very disappointed. We were visiting the city for the first time so this really made for a bad experience since we chose this place out of all the places in the city.
Food was ok. Expensive for the price.
Went to Eggstatic for suhoor. It was an exeptional experience. The atmosphere was festive yet calm. We ordered the chef’s favorite Muhamara dip, eggstatic steak n egg and Fahsa. All three items were flavorful. The dip was too good! 👌🏼 The waitress was super nice. Service was fast enough. Highly recommend this place and would love to visit again on regular hours.
It’s a very good brunch place. Food is nice, atmosphere is very good. However, it’s nothing special just a regular brunch place. Recommend
Atmosphere is ok. Waiters are super friendly and awesome. Food is terrible. As a sous chef I strongly recommend changing cooking techniques or the cook themselves
I had tried this restaurant in Toronto and was okay and came back here with high hopes but they went down extremely fast when I was served grilled cheese that wasn’t even grilled and cheese that wasn’t melted The kitchen and chef people shoudl be questioned because food was extremely low in quality and taste Waiter was extremely sweet
Soooo good! Alfred was great! Everything gets a 10/10
Loved our meal here and our server was was very friendly. Can't recommend more
Had the cilbur, was amazing!!
Amazing experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding and every dish was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. A must-try — I’ll definitely be going back.
Compared to Toronto, this is the dollar store version of it, the matcha was genuinely mediocre and everything is so pricey for poor quality meals. Also it took almost 90 minutes before receiving our food. Definitely my last time coming here, I wish the the best
Evrything was burned....egg...toast...sausage...potato .terrible spice selection...super expensive!
We went to Ecstatic Restaurant for Suhoor and had a mixed experience. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes to receive our plates, which is quite long — especially during Suhoor when timing is important. There were also a couple of mistakes with our order. We asked for multigrain bread but were served white bread instead, and the white bread was dry, almost as if it had been toasted and left aside. The potatoes on the plate seemed dry and not very fresh, and the sunny-side-up eggs looked like they may have been sitting before being served. I had the steak, which was okay, but overall the plate felt that it was put aside and lost it’s freshness. That said, Zainab, our waitress, was excellent — kind, professional, and clearly doing her best. She was the only waitress handling a full crowd, with just one chef and one bus girl supporting. The issue seemed to be understaffing rather than lack of effort. Because of her service, we still left an 18% tip. Based on the food and wait time alone, this would have been a one-star experience. However, because of Zainab’s service and attitude, I’m giving three stars. This place has potential, but better staffing and kitchen coordination — especially during busy Suhoor nights — would make a big difference.
Very good menu, the staff is extremely nice, the atmosphere is calm and beautiful, I would recommend their egg Benedict 🥰
Great food and great service. We will come back!
The smile says it all!
Such a great discovery. My husband and I were looking for a different brunch here in Montreal and we saw this new spot on TikTok and decided to give it a try. We loved this place, the service, the many menu options, the fact it’s halal and that it’s a big open space. The service with Zaynab was amazing and the food so delicious with great portions. We can’t wait to bring our families & friends!!!
Vanessa our server was great! she was super attentive and kind! Food was amazing will be back!
Food was great and the service from Vanessa was awesome! Highly recommend.
Went there twice and the food was really flavourful the first time. The second time, I ordered the same thing but it was over salted and the drink I had last time did not taste the same. It was packed the second time I went so the inconsistencies maybe due to the high volume of people. The staff were decent but they seemed overwhelmed overall. The pricing is a bit higher than other brunch places.
I was very excited to try out this brunch place, unfortunately my party and I were extremely disappointed… not once did a waiter check up on us, no water was offered, menus were given to us after we asked (keep in mind that we had been sitting at our table for about 15-20 mins). We were being completely ignored and decided that we did not want to spend our entire time fighting to receive any sort of attention. It was a very disappointing experience, won’t be coming back.
Ordered on uber and half the food was missing and what we did receive was not at all as pictured. Eggs Benedict supposed to come with English muffin but instead we received untoasted bread and tiny serving of potatoes and salad
Went for the first time. Might return. The place looks great. Service was ok. I gave 3 for food because some was great (soups) but some was disapointing (winter menu). The eggs with pastrami was good but the out come was not as shown on picture and was over priced. 23$ for 3 eggs and 6 small slices of pastrami.... Oh sorry there was also some scalions. See for yourself in the pictures The pain doré frenchstatic was very disappointing :( no mention of rose water on the menu but first bite was filled with rose taste. I hate that taste feels like eating soap. Never would have ordered if i had known. Thankfully it wasnt throughout so i was able to avoid the rose if i ddnt touch the toppings...! Didnt return it, i hate wasting food. But i did inform the servor of my confusion as i did not feel like i had received what i ordered. Too many différences. As for the meal itself. It was an odd overwhelming 6 inch thick slice of cold bread. I dont know about you but I've always had warm pain doré. I would have much prefered if they have sliced that in 3 and gave me a stack of actual french toast It is served in a hot skillet but the ice cream on top and the fact that you have to go through 6 inches of bread before reaching the heat of the skillet didnt feel like i was eating pain doré at all. The menu mentioned cinnamon caramel creamcheese and cookie crumble. I didnt taste or see any of that! It did have generous blueberry compote and some ice cream. We also had the manakeesh zaatar which was good. I do not recommand the winter menu which i consider false advertisment But I would recommand to try this restaurant. Had a good expérience overall.
Worst shakshuka I ever had!!! NO FLAVOR AT ALL just soft squishy tomatoes with eggs. couldn't even finish it. The rest of the food was average, definitely won't go back.
