My husband and I have ordered from this place a lot. This time we ordered black pepper beef and they sent me noodles with beef and thank God uber refunded me after I sent the picture of the food. The salt and pepper shrimp came half of the portion that usually comes and their Thai style clams tasted off. I called the store and Asian lady was so rude told me store is busy it's not my fault that your store is busy! Never again!

While Restaurant Dynastie in Montreal's Chinatown is often praised for its late hours and large portions, the seafood combo falls completely flat. The scallop dish is heavily salty, the shrimp dish is basic, the filet was passable. The portions were small, just enough for two people. At its current price point, it feels significantly overpriced. The salted fried rice very good though. The staff was very quick and attentive. They were great. Nice and calm environment even late at night.

Im sure food would've been fine. Labelled to be open until 4am on the door and online. We walk in at 2:30 am we were told its closed. Very disappointing.

The service at this restaurant was truly awful from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, a hostess shouted across the entire restaurant to ask how many people were in our party — rude from the very first moment. She also didn’t bring enough menus, and when I asked for more, she responded rudely and clearly annoyed. Most of the alcohol menu wasn’t even available because they were out of stock. The waiter who took our order barely spoke English, which made ordering difficult, and another server worked the entire time in a medical mask — we genuinely suspected he was sick while serving food to customers. We ordered a combo meal, and they completely forgot to bring the soup. We reminded them near the end of our meal, and instead of soup, they brought us salted water. At one point, a staff member came by with a bussing cart and started clearing food off our table while we were still sitting right there, eating. After we finished, we waited about 20 minutes just to get the check, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The entire time we were there, no one checked on us, cleared our dirty plates, or asked if we wanted anything else. Given the terrible service, we decided not to leave a tip — and the male manager made a scene in front of the whole restaurant, scolding us loudly for not tipping. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. We will never be coming back.

Very disappointing experience at Dynastie Restaurant. The service was poor, and the woman server with the bob haircut and bangs was rude and seemed annoyed the entire time. We ordered an extra-large wonton soup that was supposed to be enough for eight people, but we were served what looked like a regular portion. When we pointed it out, we were charged again instead of having the mistake corrected. The food portions were small, and the quality was very average. Everyone at our table was disappointed with both the food and the service. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended. I won't be coming back.

Food was okay but the service was racially negatively awful… maybe because of our coloured skins because we had another coloured skin families that approached us because they noticed we had a bad service and gave us some negative feedbacks that we were already experience… don’t recommend this resto to no one at all

Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The server handed 2 menus for 6 people to one person instead of serving the table, slammed our dishes down so hard the utensils rattled, and expected us to pass the plates around ourselves as well. When one of our orders was incorrect, he immediately insisted it was what we ordered without listening and left the dish on the table anyway. The food was disappointing, but the service was even worse. After I chose not to leave a tip because of the experience, the server told me, “Next time, get takeout if you’re not going to tip.” I replied, “No problem, you’ll never see me again.” I definitely won’t be returning.

Lily and her team especially our amazing waitress were fantastic, 5 star customer service and hospitality we went there for a mini family reunion and surprise birthday They were amazing from beginning to end We were a large group and they were very patient and informative of the menu, I have been here numerous times but this is the first time with a larger group Many thanks Liezl

My girlfriend and I came in at dinner time, when it wasn't too busy. From the beginning, we were not treated well (ie: no water, had to ask for menus), we ordered the fried rice and the curry chicken. The curry chicken had a overwhelming tumeric smell, and tasted awful to the point where I gagged smelling it. I tried sending it back to the kitchen and the man's first response was that I still had to pay for it. Ok fair... the bill comes around, and as expected he didn't take it off the bill. I decided to tip 10% because of the terrible service all throughout and the man proceeded to lash out at me in front of the whole restaurant. We left immediately, but my girlfriend forgot her scarf, we went back, and he continued to say bad things about me?? Overall, was a shitty experience, and would not recommend as the people running the restaurant are unprofessional, and haven't learned basic manners despite this restaurant being around for 10+ years.

Dynastie messed up our order twice, and instead of fixing it professionally, the staff acted irritated with us for asking for the correct food. What we finally got was average, nothing special. They also pushed for a tip, even though the service was poor. I had to remind them that tipping is based on service, not mandatory. Overall, a disappointing experience. Not returning.

If I could give zero stars, I would give negative zero. The service at this restaurant was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Our bill was $159, yet we were pressured to leave at least a 15% tip for what was honestly poor service. Tips should be earned through good service, not demanded from customers. One staff member was incredibly rude and asked us, "Is this your first time eating in a restaurant?" I was shocked by such a disrespectful comment. I have dined in restaurants across Asia, Europe, and North America and have never been treated this way. To make matters worse, when we asked for two takeout containers, we were only given one. When we requested another container, the server returned and combined two completely different dishes into a single box instead. Not only was this unprofessional, but it was also unpleasant and ruined the remaining food we wanted to take home. (BTW most of the food served taste old except for veggies and shrimp dumpling) Customer service should be based on respect and hospitality. Unfortunately, this experience was the exact opposite. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
