It may say high chairs available which is true , but doesn’t mean that it is appropriate for babies to go to this restaurant . My 16 month old daughter tried to eat the strings on the table cloth , she liked looking at the menu but the plastic on their menu was not sturdy enough where she literally ripped the plastic part of it completely off and tried eating it , the glass cover for the tables are not safe for babies and it slides off to the other side of the table where you could be concerned about the food coming off with the glass cover , the waiter said she was new , so it was a bit difficult having a baby in a restaurant with a new waitress that was not knowledgeable about things and took the food process seriously a lot longer than usual for wait times and not taking our orders like she was supposed to do , the other waitress needed to check on things to see how things were going. They moved us to a different table that was bare wood , my daughter still teeth on it , I had teething toys and other toys, but she was not interested in her baby things , maybe if the food came sooner I could of kept her distracted by the eating of the food instead of other things she chose to distract herself by the long wait time. The table was a lot smaller too so I had to keep my jasmine tea kettle completely off the table for safety concerns so my daughter would not get burn , that was very inconvenient when needed my cup refilled , I gave a decent tip especially after the irritation that I encountered throughout the whole experience, for the waitress to completely deny helping me put the food in containers, when I express I needed help because my daughter was definitely ready to get out of that small uncomfortable wooden high chair, so making sure she didn’t teeth on the wooden table and putting all of the food in containers which they did not give enough for the food that was on the table , was a bit difficult and made us leave the restaurant 15 to 20 minutes more later than I wanted, because I had to do it in a way where my daughter wasn’t grabbing things that were near that she could not have , so I had to put our food in containers on a different table then where we were sitting at to prevent that . Should of made the tip less if it was going to be that way ! Then the manager ask how everything was and I told him the truth how things were and said I will never bring my daughter back to this restaurant that it’s clearly not baby friendly at all ! Maybe when she is older ,but even then it’s going to be years because that is how unhappy this experience was ;My daughter really enjoyed the food , too bad it couldn’t be more baby friendly. P.S by the way maybe the staff should ask if it’s ok to touch other peoples’ babies before they touch them , because I would of said no thank you! And had to tell someone to not touch her !

Went here for Valentine’s dinner and it was notably the worst service experience we have ever had. I am not one to write scathing reviews and we were prepared for a longer wait than usual because of the holiday, but this was egregious. We were here for over two hours. We sat, waited 10 minutes, ordered drinks, and waited 35 minutes until I got up and asked, “Can we order?”. The manager (gentleman in a green shirt) proceeded to come over with our drinks and give a speech about how our waitress was “actually doing a great job because she’s only been waitressing for two weeks”. We had said nothing prior about her, the service, or how long it was taking. We simply asked to order. From when we put the food in, half of it came in 20 minutes and was lukewarm. I got up to go to the bathroom while we were waiting for the sushi and saw our order sitting out on the counter, waiting to be delivered. The manager came over again and rehashed the previous lecture while we sat. The sushi rolls took an additional 25 minutes and had clearly been sitting out as the rice/fillings were soft and mushy. As someone who has eaten sushi on many occasions, these were some of the more disappointing rolls I’ve been served. My boyfriend ordered a second beer (just a bottle with a top) and it took another 15 minutes. We were ready for the check by the time it arrived. They comped the second beer and a pot of tea, but we finished neither because they arrived after the meal. When he took the check, the manager talked for the longest time about how he doesn’t recommend going out on holidays in general, and how we could “eat ice cream or go to a petting zoo instead”. He also went over with us what good weekends would be to return to the restaurant. “Not next weekend but maybe the one after.” We had not expressed interest or disinterest in returning. Every exchange with this guy was way too long, out of the blue and strange. The icing on the cake was he offered us a bag for our leftovers, then forgot to get us the bag. He saw us get up to leave, had us wait while he got the bag, then got distracted talking to a waitress like three steps away from us, and handed the bag to me with his back and head completely facing the other way. He did not acknowledge us after finishing his conversation. Complete disregard for our time and experience. We didn’t let it ruin our Valentine’s Day, because it was honestly laughable, but we will look elsewhere for date nights in the future.
Amazing food great people will definately be back an outstanding addition to community breaking the binge burger feel thats taken over the area
I went here 2 times and this place is amazing! The service is amazing, everyone is so sweet. I recommend coming here and getting sushi. And fried ice cream.
A great find in little Newport. My tom yum soup was delicious, our apps were all tasty, and mains hot and presented nicely. Highly recommend.
