Dunya Shawarma is one of the best spots for authentic shawarma and Middle Eastern food! The meat is flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. The sandwiches are packed with ingredients, the garlic sauce is amazing, and the portions are very satisfying. Friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere make the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious shawarma! Literally the best shawarma in the world! But you have to wait 30 mins minimum and the fries i wish if they change it

The one and only authentic shawarma place in Montreal! I never imagined I would enjoy shawarma or falafel in Montreal this much! The texture, taste, smell, ingredients… literally everything is incredible. You just have to take one bite, close your eyes, and you’ll instantly be transported to your favorite place in Lebanon 🇱🇧
I like how fast the orders are, and everything is prepared right in front of you. The prices are very good too! I tried the chicken shawarma and it tasted great. The toum was a bit too garlicky for me, but still good. The falafel was actually really good! :)
The beef is so tender and fresh, the salad is light and zesty and the hummus is so smooth & tasty. Wow wow wow.

I so love this place! me and my husband would always order it from home but yesterday we tried it in the actual store and I don't think we can go back to delivery, it's just way way better and so fresh! the chicken is a must get, my favorite ❤️🥰

Small shop with minimal seating but what it lacks in seating it makes up in flavour! I had the beef shawarma, extra garlic sauce, no tomatoes - once I started eating- I knelt going, super satisfying mouthfuls of flavour, moist and delicious! I also tried a falafel ball. Would come back to try the chicken shawarma as it has fried inside as that’s my thing….Courteous staff that works efficiently.

Best Shawarma in Montreal by far. I’ve had the chicken, I’ve had the beef, I’ve had the falafel, I’ve had the fries, I've had the peach tea, I’ve had the fattouche… I’ve basically had the whole menu and loved every single thing. Fresh ingredients, amazing flavours and sweet staff. They are always so busy but stay kind and get the food out quickly. I’d give 100 stars if I could. Also, don’t forget to end your meal with an ice cream, also amazing!

Really good chicken shawarma honestly!! The garlic sauce is also bomb. However, there's been times Ive visited in the afternoon and they have ran out of chicken. Also, not really a friendly place to dine in, better to take out, as it's always really busy and there aren't enough tables.

Hit up Dunya tonight. Ordered enough shawarma + falafel to feed a small village… my kids still wiped it out. Line was long, place was tight, but I got VIP parking right in front. We ate on the benches and accidentally became Dunya’s outdoor billboard. People walked by like, “Damn, they’re enjoying that.”
We were looking for gluten free options for my celiac buddy, and the person who took our order said they could do the falafel plate, and both mains (chicken and beef) on a plate without the bread or fries (said the fried weren't gf). When our order came there were fries on both plates and the wait staff explained that in fact the fries are gf because there's nothing else cooked in the frier (and no gluten used in the fries). There's definitely a busy kitchen, so definitely a risk of gluten cross contamination, but you can see it all being prepared in front of you. Everything was delicious my celiac bud was very happy!
loveee!! the chicken shawarma is SO good. i normally like beef more but this time the chicken takes it for sure with its toppings/sauce. the fries are super crispy and nice too. very cute spot to grab a quick bite :)
