It was a quick in and out for me as it was in the middle of the night. I was surprised they were open until 4 am! Their smoked meat was excellent! I had it in their famous sandwich and also in pasta, which were the most fantastic of both. Definitely recommend!

A great place if you want smoked meat without the lineup at Schwartz. I also enjoy the fact you can choose your cut of meat (I like fatty meat!) their black cherry cola is also really REALLY good. If you don't want to be sucked into that famout tourist spot, I highly recommend coming to Dunn's!

My friends 50th surprise birthday party and Dunn’s was chosen because that’s one of his favourite restaurants. Kiera was our server and we had a massive group, she handled with ease like a true professional. I can see why she’s the manager, she’s a rockstar that runs her crew incredibly well! Thank you for making it an incredible night

We recently visited Dunn's Famous, and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Montreal. We started with the Dunn’s Special Poutine—and it was so good that we ended up ordering it again. The smoked meat was absolutely perfect: tender, juicy, and packed with that rich, impeccable smokiness you hope for but rarely get this right. Every bite just hit the spot. We couldn’t stop there, so we tried the desserts too—and wow. The apple crisp was comforting and delicious, the caramel ice cream was smooth and indulgent, and the volcano chocolate dessert was just next-level. Everything felt thoughtfully made and incredibly satisfying. What truly made the experience stand out even more was the service. Our waitress (the one with the curls) was genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve encountered. Warm, attentive, and welcoming—she made us feel right at home. We’ve dined around Montreal and Quebec, and this was easily the best treatment we’ve received. From the food to the service, everything about this place felt perfect. Dunn’s has definitely earned a top spot on our list, and we’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

For delivery drivers if u took orders from this place always know they let u wait 5 or couple minutes to give ur order and waster ur time always....

This is my go-to spot for when I am hosting out-of-towners who arrive late. The smoked meat and poutine are really great examples of what Montreal has to offer!

Went for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't busy so we were seated right away. I ordered the smoked meat Petit Combo. They ask how you like your meat: lean, medium, fatty. I ordered medium-fatty, which was perfect. At first the sandwich looked tiny, but it was just right. I only managed to eat half my meal, then took the rest home. Very friendly staff. Free refills for drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant.
