Wow!! Enough to feed a family of 4. Portions are huge! Everything came out hot. Especially the french onion soup. It was NUCLEAR!! it was still piping hot. Ton of melted cheese. Had the smoked meat fried rice. That huge bowl could feed a family of 4 with leftovers! Wings were good. Quebec poutine was also huge! Our waiter Asam was fantastic and attentive. Well done Dunn's!!

Dunn’s Caesar with Smoked Meat Egg Roll and Pickle – The drink itself was pretty good but the smoked meat egg roll was the real star. It was absolutely delicious! Super Combo Smoked Meat with Latkes – The latkes were hands down the best a definite must-try! Smoked meat was melt in your mouth! (Order medium not lean) Le Petit Combo with House Salad – Don't let the name fool you—the "mini" sandwich was anything but mini! It was generous, delicious, and paired perfectly with the tasty coleslaw and fresh house salad. Top it off with a piece of strawberry cheesecake! Chefs kiss! The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly attentive & welcoming.

Our food was delicious. The coleslaw is so good the smoked meat was more than I expected. Moist and delicious. Unfortunately our service was terrible. From the very first moment, we were all really looking forward to dessert and it was the birthday of someone in our group. We went with the expectations of having dessert and singing happy birthday and having a great time. After ordering and food landing, we never saw our server again. We ended up waiting so long to ever see our server again and when we did see her she was wearing her coat and walking right by going out for a cigarette. At that point we had already forfeited the dessert idea as we'd been looking for her for at least 15 minutes to order dessert, and we were already all standing with jackets on waiting for our bills. She walked right by for her cigarette break without even acknowledging us. Eventually we asked someone else to help us pay and they also put on their cost and went out to get her. She was visibly annoyed that we had disrupted her break, at that point at least 8 minutes after she left the restaurant. The food was great. The service was unfortunately really terrible.

Visited Dunns on Sunday evening after the F1 race, food was incredible! Ruben smoke meat sandwich and smoked Eggrolls. Steve our Server was quite the character! Two thumbs up.

Legendary Montreal eatery. Ate there has a kid and it's still the same. Had "Le Petit Combo" one day and the "QUÉBÉCOISE" poutine the next day. Must visit!

Ordered the smoked meat poutine and it was so good! The gravy was super tasty and they piled a ton of smoked meat on top. It’s the perfect classic Montreal comfort food. The place had a cool vibe and the staff was really friendly too. Definitely hitting this spot up again!

I used to go to Dunn’s on St. Catherine Street in the 80s. I went to Montreal for a week of joie de vivre. I had to go for my smoked meat fix. I ordered the mini combo (small smoked sandwich, fries and a big pickle). They have their own cherry cola. The smoked meat was dry (I asked for medium) and the actual sandwich was very small. I had a fantastic server Rebecca who was fast, efficient and very personable. The music was 70s tunes. I was very happy to be there. I bought a frozen box of smoked meal to take home for my family. I’d go back just for the vibe. Their menu is very big with many options.

Tasty smoked meat! The smoked meat sandwiches are HUGE. Perfect for sharing. Stacked with meat and Swiss and sauerkraut. Very yummy! The poutine was very good. I added smoked meat and wish I had gone with the original. Gravy has good flavor. Cheese curds were good. Interior has a dinner/bar vibe. Red vinyl seats, checker pattern. Service was excellent and friendly. Local beers on the menu. Central location. The homemade cheesecake was tasty and also great for sharing. Loved the pickle plate. Nice cut to richness of everything else.

It was probably the timing, food was good but sauce was a little thin. Drinks were delicious. Took extras of the cola home. There was an argument between staff that was a little loud, but they were all lovely.

What a treat! Stumbled in feeling a little lost and dishevelled after an early train journey to find ourselves among friendly faces and the most succulent smoked meat. Wife had a salad which she loved and the playlist was all hits. Travel fatigue cured. Thanks
