Great local pub whose owner gets involved with the community. Best burgers 🍔 around.
Reviews / Ratings for Duke & Devine's Irish Pub Beaurepaire
We have been here several times and there is always something either about the food or service. Today ( a sunday of a long weekend), even though the waiter was doing his best, he was not enough because he was the only one serving. I guess the management didn’t care to hire another waiter / waitress since it is a long weekend. So, we couldn’t order our second round of beers since we couldn’t see him. ( buddy, we know you did your best!) On top of this, There was a hair in my plate and unfortunately I have seen it at the end. 🤢 very unprofessional. Noone came to apologize, they didn’t put my plate to the bill though. I am so sad to have these negative experiences everytime I go there. I am living in Beaconsfield and I dont want to go to Pointe-claire everytime to drink a beer.
Lovely place! Best Lobster Roll I’ve ever had Owner and staff are fantastic Can’t wait to go back!
If you’re Celiac, do not bother and skip this outing altogether. This is what $17 +taxes will get you with a gluten allergy. You be the judge.
The Nachos are top tier
Great food and service.
Not the first time we have been here, but this is the first time we were disappointed. Things started off on the wrong foot when we were told that two of the three specials were not available. Not a good sign. We did, however, have our hearts set on the brisket sandwich. Guess what? That was an unavailable choice as well. At that point I was about ready to leave but since we already had drinks we settled for the fish and chips. Now I know people rave about them but Sunday evening they were less than hot and the accompanying fries while slightly warmer were mushy as if they had been sitting for some time. On a brighter note the service was pleasant and quick and the Habs game was on. I think next time we want a meal out we will find somewhere else to go.
What a find! My wife saw a review on this place and we decided to try it as we were in the neighborhood. We had the jalapeno bacon mac and cheese and a burger, both were excellent. Service was great, prices were very reasonable. Drinks were also quite good, we had a cosmo and an aperol spritz. Looking forward to going back in thr spring and/or summer in order to enjoy the outdoor seating.
Had the Brisket sandwich!! Melt's on your mouth with ample gravy and fries..
GET THE IRISH NACHOS
Nachos are to die for!!! Inside dining area is a little cramped in the winter, more space upstairs. Terrace is nice, and definitely the nicer place to be vs inside during the summer, but not as nice as other terraces near the water like in Ste Anne's. Still recommend for catching up with friends and watching the game, 5à7 on the terrace in the summer, dinner with family
Went back to Duke & Devine to try their fish tacos and their fish and chips … and they did not disappoint!! The fish was flaky and tender. Tacos were full of flavour (I could have eaten 10, not just 3). Fish and chips were as crispy as they get! Homey, neighbourhood joint vibe.
I liked the burger; you could taste the barbecue grill. The french fries were crisp and well-seasoned. I was expecting a bit more Irish-style beer on their menu and a better variety. I still recommend!
