Beautiful cozy pastry shop & restaurant, we sat indoors on a gloomy day had a late, tea, chocolatine, and a pistachio trompe l'oeil. Everything was a 10/10. I see comments saying it's pricey, well yes it's a french pastry shop serving homemade products infront of the St. Joseph' oratory an iconic montreal landmark of course it is to be taken into consideration. It's a beautiful experience when wanting to treat yourself or on occasion!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food the portions were huge for brunch My friends gave me the surprise birthday cake and the waiters were all super nice to come and did little celebration with nice music it was super cute of them Everything was nice the waiters was really nice and asking if we needed anything

Came here for Valentine’s Day brunch and it was amazing! Food was excellent, I had the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of pancakes. Service was okay, they forgot to bring one of our sides until we reminded them at the end. Atmosphere was nice, but the dining area is super crammed. I would definitely recommend coming here, but maybe at a less crowded time.

The service was impeccable from the minute I walked in. My waiter truly took care of me. the food and pastry were great. The macaroons were everything! Not too sweet and not too overwhelming

I went there today. The server who welcomed us was very nice. However we waited long.for our food. The fries were not fresh.mixes with old ones that have been warmed up. The croque M. was ok nothing special anf my husband croissant omelette was basic. Only the croissant was extraordinary. Price very high. Service of the waiter very poor. Others who came after us received their food before us even. He brought ketchup and mayonnaise when I finished 3/4 of our plate. My husband finished his. Only pastries. Coffee not wow for us!!! I would no go there for brunch again.

Food was great and wonderful! Only drawback was the wait time for our table. We made a reservation and came early, and only got seated 15 minutes after or reservation… the area to sit in was really cramped(it was only the indoors area). You’re seated 1 foot away from the other table, and people will bump you when they walk by. I hit and got hit by so many people and waiters.

I had a great experience having the best onion soup and lemon pie at this Bistro last Good Friday. I’ve been visiting for 20 years and I never hesitate to recommending them! It is an iconic place in Montreal and I was really touched when one of the owners came to my table and thank me for being a loyal client . She showed me appreciation and she just made my day with this gesture . Nice wine selection and beautiful decor ! Thank you !

Very poor customer service, rude staff and aggressive attitude.with their unreasonable high prices these level of service and respect for customers is unacceptable.their product is not even comparable to some other pastry and cafe in Montrel.do not recommend this place at all

I was very disappointed to find out the staff at such a busy establishment don't receive the tips left on the bill. I’ve always tipped in great measures given the tiring work i witnessed from waiters while remaining with a pleasant attitude, only to find out that those tips are kept by the owner while the staff stays on a salary except for those behind the counters… The gap between how the staff is treated versus the management feels very unfair given how hard the servers work to keep up with the crowd.

The pastries themselves are amazing (I've tried the chocolatines + various small cakes and treats) and I can see why the specialty and artistic pieces are priced so high, however the baked good staples of croissants/chocolatines/basic cakes, etc are NOT worth the high price tag this place charges. I would only say these are worth it as a nice gift to others, or if you get them on a discount such as through Too Good to Go.

Never got a chance to try their food. We booked a reservation a month in advance...waited 20 minutes before our table was ready..which was filthy. Sat and waited...no server came and greeted us or asked if we wanted a drink..after waiting another 5-10 minutes with no one serving us we left. Also their food is very overpriced.

Disclaimer: too expensive. Wonderful experience! Extremely welcoming and polite servers, in a great atmosphere. Food was immaculate but also TOOO expensive. Expect bougie service and food. The pastry is amazing OH MY GOD! update: after several visits, I can confidently say that though food quality is quite good, same food and pastry quality is offered in other places for fraction of the price.
