There is something so satisfying about holding that warm white carton (usually reserved for Chinese takeout!) filled with the most comforting gnocchi in Montreal. Did you know? The gnocchi wasn't actually the original plan! Drogheria Fine opened as a simple grocer to sell their family’s authentic Calabrian tomato sauce. The gnocchi window was only started as a "tasting station" to help promote the sauce. Like everyone has been saying, you just can’t beat the price. The box is small but mighty as it surprisingly is able to contain plenty of gnocchi. There is no indoor seating but there are public benches outside. The sauce is not my favourite but it’s still an overall good snack . When I come back I’ll try to bring some cheese or cured meats to eat on the side!
