I walked in for the first time this weekend so I could buy some coffee beans for my machine. Their pastries looked delicious and the placed smelled like good coffee! I was overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of different products they offer. I think its great that they offer so many different beans for home brewing. I asked the cashier for some help in picking beans to buy, and he was not helpful at all. He looked as me as though I offended him by asking for help. I am sure its a lovely cafe and shop if you know what you're looking for, but if you are new to coffee and hoping for a helpful shopping experience, this isn't the place.

The coffee wasn’t the greatest, but it’s a really cute place! The cup sizing could be a bit more generous. Didn’t get a chance to try their pastries! Would definitely visit again.

If you’re looking for really good coffee in Montreal, look no further than Dreamy. They roast their own coffee and also roast for a number of other coffee shops around the city, which says a lot about what they do. Don’t overlook the food either. The biscuits and scones are excellent, especially with a good cup of coffee. I’ve been coming here for a few years whenever I’m in Montreal, and what keeps bringing me back is the consistency. Great coffee, good baking, relaxed atmosphere, and the quality never seems to change. Definitely one of my regular stops in Montreal.

There is no hand pour coffee here served. I tried the Americano and it is fairly nice. If you want to find coffee beans here is the place to go (recommended!). There are a lot roasters roasting and selling their beans here and the helper is very knowledgeable and helpful to find the right beans for you!

Amazing spot! Dreamy features multiple coffee roasters from the Canadian Roasting Society, showcasing their delicious roasts. The interior space is great, with a lovely small patio and seating by the trees, offering beautiful views of the canal. There’s also some seating along the canal for a relaxing takeaway coffee and walk.

Cafe and central hub for several roasteries. Staff here were very social and interactive, one even taking a deep dive into the lore of the various roasteries operating there so I had a thorough exposure to all the options available. Great vibe here. Their own cold brew and latte also great. Glad we stopped by.

Look, we're slowly becoming coffee nerds and this place is the Mecca, the only frustrating thing is the number of choices of good coffee you have. I ordered an iced matcha latte with vanilla, large size, and minimal ice. What I received had excessive ice and no vanilla. The staff at the counter seemed amused by my order rather than taking it seriously. I had to ask them to add vanilla after tasting it, and they did so reluctantly. I order this drink elsewhere without any issues. Better attention to detail and customer service would be appreciated. Also laughing at the order while making it is hurful to the person who bought it.
