We tried so many items from the menu just the dosa was nice. Chicken biryani , chicken fried rice was mediocre. Vada sambhar was good. Now the main dish chilli garlic noodles , it was more of chiili and red chilli powder and no garlic taste in the noodles. The costumer service is pathetic , the manager at billing is not even ready to listen the problem and feedback of the costumer. People know what authentic taste is, not just the restaurant owners. Try to take feedback from the costumer and may be you can do better.

Awesome food and authenticity. We ordered masala dosa, noodle , manchurian, paneer 65 and poori kurma … not even songle spoon left in the plates.. so good, even never tasted this in brampton.

Worst customer service and the staff is super rude! They should know how to take a feedback and if a customer requests something the host should acknowledge it! The food business is not just about cooking but also service! So minus points for the service!!

This is our favorite place so far! The consistency of their food is just amazing. Sometimes my husband Mandeep and I eat at other restaurants when we don’t have time to come to Dosa Pointe, but we’re never as satisfied as we are here. Even if I have to wait 1 hour for my food, I’ll gladly wait because it’s really worth it! Thank you as well for the amazing service

I always went there for their masala dosa. No doubt the food is good but the customer service is soo bad. After serving the food, they never come to the table and ask if we need anything else. They should come atleast once after serving food. They are always standing there but never come and ask.

This place is a gem. The cozy vibe and top-tier ingredients made for a wonderful meal. Everything we ordered was executed flawlessly. The staff provided excellent care without being intrusive. From start to finish, it was a masterpiece of a meal. Truly an unforgettable night out.

Visited this place last Saturday with friends and had a fantastic experience. We ordered idly, puri, and dosa, and everything was impressive. The puri was perfectly fluffy and soft, paired with two flavorful curries that complemented it really well. The dosa was crisp and delicious, just as it should be. But the real highlight was the idly — easily the best I’ve had in Montreal. It was incredibly soft, fresh, and literally melted in the mouth like butter. The sambar and chutneys were rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Overall, an outstanding experience. If you’re craving authentic South Indian food in Montreal, this place is definitely a must-visit!

I recently placed a bulk order (50+ idlis) for an office event on very short notice, and the experience exceeded expectations. When I called late in the evening, they didn’t just accept the order—they took the time to guide me on the right quantities for sambar and coconut chutney based on the number of people. That kind of practical advice is rare. What stood out even more was their honesty. When I mentioned I planned to pick it up at night and reheat it the next morning, they advised against it because it would affect the taste. Instead, they offered to prepare the order fresh the next morning—and actually opened outside their regular hours just to accommodate this. The idlis were warm, soft, and incredibly fluffy. For many people at the office, it was their first time trying idlis, and the feedback was consistently positive—everyone loved it. Great food is one thing, but this level of service and thoughtfulness is what makes a place stand out. Highly recommended.

I recently tried Dosa Pointe and honestly, I really enjoyed the food. The paper dosa was huge, super crispy, and just perfect—one of the best I’ve had in a while. It came with chutneys and sambar that tasted fresh and went really well with it. The rava dosa was also really good—nice and crispy with that light, lacy texture. You can tell it was made fresh, and the flavor was spot on. I also had the idli, which was soft, fluffy, and comforting. It paired perfectly with the chutneys and sambar. The karam podi dosa was my favorite though—it had a nice spicy kick and was full of flavor without being too overpowering. Overall, the food felt authentic and satisfying. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving good South Indian food.

Visited again on 3 Feb, and had a plate of Vada … this time sambhar was really tasty and chutney were nice. Vada was not fresh, but decent. Chilli garlic noodles was spicy and tasted nice, but it was a little more oily. Their Indo-Chinese dishes are a must try. Overall ***.5 —— Old review Trio fried rice with manchurian was really very tasty, i did request for spicy and it was to the mark… awesome and i will try their other Indo-Chinese dishes. As for the mysore masala dosa, it lacked the authentic taste, just had the podi chutney :( i didn’t like the sambhar either, chutney were fine. For this price, this would be 1.5-2** Staff is very friendly and listens carefully

The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the visit. While the kitchen was a bit slow, the waitstaff provided excellent service and handled the delay professionally; we understand that kitchen timing is often out of their control. However, our experience at the front counter was disappointing. The professionalism at the register did not match the high quality of the food or the floor service, and we hope to see more courteous interactions in the future.

Good Food, But Consistently Poor Service I have visited Dosa Pointe multiple times, and unfortunately, this experience was disappointing again.I had to leave a review We ordered one achari masala dosa, one veg noodles, and two rose lassis. The lassi arrived first, followed by the dosa—but the veg noodles never came at all. We were two people dining together, and only one of us got their meal while the other kept waiting. We didn’t follow up immediately because this has happened 3–4 times before, and we’ve always tried to be understanding since restaurants can get busy. However, this time it wasn’t even crowded, and still there was no check-in from the staff or acknowledgment of the missing order. One thing I’ve consistently noticed is that this issue seems to happen whenever we order Indo-Chinese items. If that section of the menu cannot be managed properly, it might be better not to take those orders instead of leaving customers waiting indefinitely. The food we did receive was good, but the service really needs improvement. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

One of our favourite restaurants ever. Dosa is perfect. Veg noodles, chicken 65, Gobi Manchurian are all delicious options too. Idli and vada are absolutely the best at dosa point--chutneys and sambar are so tasty. The staff are very very friendly and warm. I love you dosa Pointe.

The best doses in town! Coming from south India, I have found a place which serves the most authentic and tasty doses, vadas and idly that satisfies all my cravings away from home! They also have the classic indo Chinese street style food that will leave you wanting for more. A family and freinds favorite restaurant, friendly service and awesome food! A must try restaurant in montreal for all dose lovers!
