This place is so awesome. If I had to pick my last meal on earth it would be from here.

Best food in world.
Good Food, But Consistently Poor Service I have visited Dosa Pointe multiple times, and unfortunately, this experience was disappointing again.I had to leave a review We ordered one achari masala dosa, one veg noodles, and two rose lassis. The lassi arrived first, followed by the dosa—but the veg noodles never came at all. We were two people dining together, and only one of us got their meal while the other kept waiting. We didn’t follow up immediately because this has happened 3–4 times before, and we’ve always tried to be understanding since restaurants can get busy. However, this time it wasn’t even crowded, and still there was no check-in from the staff or acknowledgment of the missing order. One thing I’ve consistently noticed is that this issue seems to happen whenever we order Indo-Chinese items. If that section of the menu cannot be managed properly, it might be better not to take those orders instead of leaving customers waiting indefinitely. The food we did receive was good, but the service really needs improvement. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.
One of our favourite restaurants ever. Dosa is perfect. Veg noodles, chicken 65, Gobi Manchurian are all delicious options too. Idli and vada are absolutely the best at dosa point--chutneys and sambar are so tasty. The staff are very very friendly and warm. I love you dosa Pointe.
They guys serve really tasty food🍲🍲 specially their maisur masala dosa ❤ I love it..
The best doses in town! Coming from south India, I have found a place which serves the most authentic and tasty doses, vadas and idly that satisfies all my cravings away from home! They also have the classic indo Chinese street style food that will leave you wanting for more. A family and freinds favorite restaurant, friendly service and awesome food! A must try restaurant in montreal for all dose lovers!
Wow had been here yesterday with my family. Never had this good Andhra chicken curry and parotta even when I worked in Andhra. Hakka cuisine is to die for. Starters to noodles to Veg Manchurian everything is top notch. Will sure make this restaurant my family's go to place
Best in town in terms of quality, freshness, price, quantity and customer service. A crowd favorite for more than a decade, this gem is an absolute treat to all connoisseurs of delectable food. Highly recommend!
5 ✨ good food
I recently visited this restaurant in Montreal and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The food quality was extremely poor and did not taste fresh at all. It was far below the basic standards I expected. I was really surprised because I chose this place hoping to have a good meal, but instead it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. What made the situation even worse was the response from the owner. When I politely informed him about the issue with the food, he showed no concern and didn’t even try to address the problem. A simple apology or effort to fix the situation would have made a difference, but there was none. Because of both the poor food and the lack of customer service, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I had a very bad experience. The customer service was extremely poor. I shared our concerns with the owner, but he did not seem to care at all. They really need to improve their attitude and how they treat customers.
One of the best restaurant with very friendly staff and of course excellent food, starters and drinks. I had their special starters with my friends. Highly recommend this place for all visitors.
The food was okay, but the customer service was very poor. I noticed the owner sitting at the front, and when I shared my feedback, he seemed completely uninterested and didn’t care about what I had to say. We were a group of 11 people, yet we were given only one glass of water, when at least three would have been reasonable for a table of that size. It felt like the staff did not value their customers. Overall, the food was very below average, and the service made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone around me.
. The customer service was extremely disappointing. When I shared my feedback about the food with the owner, he was very rude and showed no concern for my comments. While the food itself was okay, the portion size was quite small and there was very little chicken in the dish. Customer satisfaction should be a priority. It’s important to listen to feedback, appreciate customer reviews, and treat customers with respect in order to improve the overall experience.
Best in Montréal and all of Quebec, excellent service by all staff and owners are super nice as well, highly recommend!
Hands down the best Hakka cuisine in town! A1 quality!
Great experience, food is fire !!
I go almost every week, many times they don’t have what I want even though it is on the menu
My go to spot in Montreal for dosas and desi chinese.
When they first opened a few years ago, the food was fresh and I visited quite often. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. It felt like the chutneys were simply reheated rather than freshly made. The dosa was extremely dry, as if it had been prepared with old batter, and the vadas tasted stale. Sadly, I won’t be returning again.
Absolutely the best South Indian food in Montreal - stacks up to some dosas I've had in India. Also great Indian Chinese. Also, I'm a regular here and have an allergy and the servers remember it better than I do.
I’ve been to Dosa Point four times now, and what really stands out is their consistency. The taste and quality of the food are always on point — same flavor, same freshness every visit. The staff is welcoming and the service is smooth even when they’re busy. It’s honestly rare to see that level of consistency in Indian Restaurants. What makes me even happier is seeing our own people doing so well in the restaurant business here in Canada. I’ve hardly seen Indian restaurants where customers line up outside, but here people actually wait for a table — and that says everything. Really proud and genuinely happy for their success.
Best Indian food in mtl
Great Dosa. The Chicken Biriyani was also yummy. Great Service.
