Very friendly owner, delicious food, and great prices. The location is perfect—right across from the park, which made it ideal for a relaxed outing while the kids enjoyed playing and eating. Highly recommend!

So first time trying this little diner around the corner from the Verdun Natatorium. I have passed this restaurant a hundred times and never thought to step inside... until now. And it is a must try. Surprisingly extensive lunch & dinner menu with many choices for different tastes... We tried two mains - the chicken brochette, and the fish of the day (sea bass). The chicken was perfectly prepared & succulent. The sea bass was a standout with lovely sides including a vegetable rice pilaf and tasty ratatouille. Large portion sizes and super reasonable prices for the quality and freshness of the dishes. Will definitely be back for brunch and update our review - the breakfast menu has everything from eggs & bacon to omelettes, eggs benedict, crepes, waffles, sandwiches, smoothies & lattes. Great little hidden gem that is easy to miss, given the nondescript storefront. Now if only they could do something about the extreme orange walls and loud radio music

This place is a real gem!! Prices are so damn reasonable, meaning someone on a tight budget, like myself, can actually treat themselves! The food, omg, like home cooked! Tasty and definitely made with love! The owners are sweet, kind and so welcoming. Just a lovely Mom and Pop type place! If I lived closer, I would probably go daily, just to have a coffee or a chai (if your lucky, the Mom might make you a fresh one) and a chat!!! ,🤤😊😍💛💛💛💛💛

Great little mom and pops restaurant. We went for breakfast and the prices are super reasonable, the food is fresh and well prepared. We got the 2 eggs with 2 meats it came with 2 slices of toast, a bowl of fruit and beans. They even have a kids menu with a lot of options - she got the half waffle with banana and Nutella. Super good service and friendly. Highly recommend

So this is probably my favorite restaurant. Cozy diner that serves a massive variety of food run by a sweet Bangladeshi family. They come and chat, they give complimentary (very tasty) homemade dishes and they put work into making everything for you right before you eat. I always tip 20% here and I don’t think there’s really anywhere else I do that.

Good drinks, great tasty food!! The portions are amazing; the prices are more than reasonable (the rest of MTL needs to take notes). I loved the burger with jalapeños (actually spicy), and my friend had a really good poutine with fresh ingredients. Will come back to try their breakfast menu very soon!

The portions are generous and the food is delicious in this family run restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and the lamb fajitas. It was nice to sit by the window and have a view of the riverside. Will definitely be going back!

What an amazing experience!! I personally love brunch! A lot of the times it is after 3pm and am still in the mood for breakfast food but most stop serving. This restaurant serves breakfast at any time of the day! Not just that, but the quality of the meal and the price is amazing. It was the perfect portion and very fresh. Would definitely recommend and I am saving it to my favorites for sure! A++

This is a new restaurant in the area. The waitress ( Annika) was super sweet with us as well as the owner. You can have breakfast and brunch there at any time of the day which is great. Althought I was there for the brunch menu, they also have lunch and dinner menu with a great variety of choices. We were very happy with the quality of the food and service. The fruits from their brunch were super fresh and sweet, I was impressed as I feel it's super dificult to get fresh fruits in Quebec at those time of the year. I will definitely try to come back. New great spot in Verdun. We went for brunch, good variety on the menu, service was friendly and food was great! If I would change one thing is another bread option than just white or brown; like a rye or pumpernickel bread would be great. But overall great spot which we will definitely go again

We had a great evening! Our 2 year old granddaughter had a booster seat in the booth with us and it was perfect. She loved the soup, and of course, the French fries. As well as the delicious tomato soup, we loved the club sandwiches, the cheese quesadillas and the shrimp fajitas.

The owners are so kind, generous and welcoming. They offered us each a bowl of soup upon our arrival and were very attentive and helpful. We ordered a submarine, pizza, and a poutine. All were delicious and clearly made with a lot of love and attention! Will definitely be back!

This is my 3rd time going (having breakfast & lunch) and every time has been such a delight, portions are absolutely incredible with the pricing. Overall, seeing the love and passion alone that the owners put towards their service and meals is what will always bring me back. I can’t wait to try more of the menu! Lovely location as well.

Dinette Doree has the best food and the best staff. The prices are very reasonable and the food portions are great. The restaurant is very clean and the kitchen is spotless. Do not hesistate to try this restaurant. They have a very large and diverse menu. Service is quick. This restaurant is one of the best in verdun.

Got an absolute delicious breakfast for me and my partner for about 20$. This place is what montreal needs more of. Portions were ample and the turkey bacon coulda fooled me into thinking it was pig. Fresh hot strong coffee. A great family owned business that I am thankful is in my neighborhood. A crime that more people were not in there. Going to be a usual spot here on out.
