Overated. Like another comment say it has too much fries and not enough cheese curds. And the curds are sliced. The gravy is good, the fries are not crispy they are mushy. The price is good

Very disappointing! The staff seems very polite and nice. The service was great. The service was fast. It was also well package. The amount of cheese in my small poutine was generous. Unfortunately I do not recommend this fast food restaurant. The fries were not crispy at all. The color of the fries was not appetizing to my opinion. I did not like the sauce either unfortunately. I wanted to try that restaurant for quite a while but won't go back. First and last time there unfortunately. I wrote the review in English because I don't think nobody speaks French in there unfortunately. I paid 14,50$ for a small poutine. No bargain

Like most people I probably heard all of the ravings on a Facebook poutine group about how this is the best poutine they've had. I have to agree it's a very good poutine, not the best I've had before but, it's up there. There was a ton of cheese curds in there, right amount of sauce and the fries had the right amount of ratio of crispiness and less crispiness. You like to get some crispy fries and some more "mooshy" that were loved by the sauce. As for people saying the cheese gets too melty, I don't understand why, we took a few bites in the parking lot before leaving but kept the rest in their containers until we got home which is roughly 45 minutes away from there and the cheese wasn't excessively melty, they were still curds, some were more melted than others but, that's on us... keeping it in a closed metal container for that long to drive home, obviously those containers keep the food warm but keep them heating up too. To ME one of the most important things in a poutine is the taste of the sauce, it can make the whole thing a homerun or a sinker. I can't say their sauce marked me at all, I'd say it maybe needs more spices in there (not meaning make it spicy) but just good ole fashion spices to give it the love and wow factor. We had hotdogs and sodas too, they tasted like every other restaurants do so they were more than quite acceptable quality and taste wise. It took long to get our food though, the place was jam packed so, it's understandable but, I took off a star for that. I've seen worse in many other restaurants that are half empty. This place was more than full, there were so many people standing around the place waiting for their orders (we just had to come at a peak moment lol). The people there were very friendly, I even spoke to someone who might be management in there because I was wondering where they got their Putters big bucket of pickles cause I've been looking for one since 2 years since where I buy mine they don't sell them anymore and he was nice enough to tell me where they get theirs and give me a few more suggestions of places that might carry the item. Btw, thank you to whoever reunited us with our Putter's pickle bucket, your suggestion paid off and I found one :o) The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean too when I went... like I said I live 45 minutes away from there so, might as well go visit the washroom before the long drive home. Would I go there again: yes, would I buy a poutine there again yes, would I do the detour for it though no, I'd simply do like I did this time and wait until I'm in that area.

We enjoyed our experience at Diabo's Restaurant. My boyfriend had the sub with Poutine and I had the chicken salad. 🐔 Definitely will be coming back on our next visit. I love the traditional decor. Made us feel at home, we are from the north, Cree Nation territory. It was our pleasure to eat local and support on brothers and sisters while we are around visiting. megwetc!
