We hosted a Literacy Unlimited Ambassador meet-up at Del Friscos last night, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were a group of 15, and the team made everything feel seamless—accommodating us with a great table that allowed for connection and conversation. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, and the food was perfect across the board. It’s not always easy to coordinate a larger group, but everything was handled with ease and care. We left feeling well taken care of and already looking forward to coming back. A perfect spot for both community gatherings and a great night out. Highly recommend.

Have been here twice and was very impressed, but Alex was our server today and she was outstanding! So friendly and attentive, making great recommendations. The food came quickly and was excellent. We live out of province, but can't wait to come back and have another meal at Del Friscos!
Nice Italian restaurant in the West Island. We had the table d’hôte. For entree we had the artichoke spinach dip which comes with focaccia. I definitely recommend this entree. Very tasty and cheesy. Cream of celery soup was decent. The main course was a personal pizza with mozzarella cheese, mortadella, roasted red peppers, green peppers and caramelized onions. Its was very good although the size could be a bit bigger. For desert I would recommend the mini cannolis which is a great value for 4$. All things considered, we had a very nice experience at Del Friscos and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Italian restaurant in the West Island. (Also, ask about off menu items like the chicken and veal parmesan)
Went around 5. Food tasted average (i’m not particularly picky), had to ask for the free bread (one tiny roll for me and one for other person), server never came over to check on us while we ate main course and then we had to wait another 15 minutes after finishing to get the check (which only arrived after I flagged a different server otherwise we would’ve never been noticed). I don’t blame the server, likely it’s a demand planning/scheduling issue but it’s a one-and-done for me.
Thank you so much to Del Friscos. They catered our fundraiser and the food was delicious! They did a great job and were very generous. Our guests had a terrific dinner. Thank you :)
Brendan Glenn & Heidi always make it a great time, amazing service!
A lot of Plant Based (Vegan) options. Always our go to place in the West Island. Food, Service and Atmosphere are always on point.
One of the best italian casual restaurants in the greater Montreal area. The team always does a great job.
Delicious pizza.
My first time here for a friend's birthday lunch. Amazing service and staff. Delicious and hot food with large portions.
We were a group of 9 at Del Friscos to celebrate a birthday . Our server was Zoey…….she was absolutely fantastic. Service was timely without being rushed, she was open to questions and all service was provided with a smile. This despite a very full restaurant. We had various pizzas, pasta and 1 chicken dish . The food was delicious and the portions very generous. A small cake was provided for the birthday girl and Zoey very kindly brought complimentary mini cannolis for the group. Overall a great experience. Thank you Zoey
Big portions and nice service by the waitresses. We got lasagna and two chicken sandwiches. Loved the playlist !
We have been here many times. The eggplant was always delicious as were the steamed clams. The salmon is still delicious. This time the eggplant was hard, couldn't chew or slice it. The sauce was tasteless. The lasagna was also tasteless. We tried about a quarter of the dish and brought the rest home. Took out a cast iron pan put in a tablespoon of virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and heated it up on low. Took sliced onion, sliced garlic and shallot (all fresh) and slowcooked them until translucent put in the lasagna, the eggplant, the meat sauce with the spaghetti and sprinkled with oregano and thyme and left it on medium low. DELICIUS!! It does not take much, just know what you are doing or charge $3 more and use the proper ingrdients...unless the chef went to the Chef Boyardee school of cooking.
Angie has excellent service tonight! Always on point! Great food as always
It was amazing for our first time
Stopped in for lunch on our way out of Montreal on a Saturday with a party of five (4 adults, 1 child). There was no one at the front when we first walked in, but we were acknowledged shortly after and seated promptly. We were seated at a white cloth tablecloth table, which gave a nice home-style feel, though I did question consistency since not all tables had them. I did have to ask for a kids’ menu for my 8-year-old, which felt like a small detail that could have been anticipated. Service overall was strong. Our waitress was attentive, especially with drink refills, and maintained good energy throughout. We ordered a good variety: chipotle mango chicken, Jack Daniel’s chicken, short ribs, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, penne with meatballs, a fettuccine Alfredo kids’ meal, plus the soup of the day options — minestrone and potato. The minestrone was very good. The potato soup was okay but a little underwhelming. Portion sizes were generous across the board, including the kids’ meal. The short ribs weren’t what we expected — more of a roast-style preparation without a bone. While it was mentioned they weren’t classic ribs, a clearer explanation would have helped set expectations. The Shirley Temples felt more like syrup and 7-Up without the classic citrus component. Coffee was average at best — I’d skip it next time. They brought out complimentary mini cannolis for the table, which was a thoughtful touch and appreciated. Total before tip was $197, and we left $100 in appreciation for the attentive service. Overall, a solid lunch experience with generous portions and attentive service, with a few small opportunities to elevate attention to detail.
I have loved this place for over 20 years and it keeps getting better . Menu is delicious Serbia is exception ( ask for Jenn she is the best) and the wine collection is on par with some downtown restaurants ! Highly recommend

I dined here at Del Frisco’s for my very first time.My waitress Maddie was nice and took great care of my table. She was very attentive to my order details and made sure my water was topped up.I ordered two soups. The minestrone and soup of the day: Salmon chowder. Both were very good.I ordered the 8oz. Pan seared Cajun style salmon fillet topped with bruschetta and balsamic glaze.Salmone Di Louisiana8oz. Filet de saumon à la Cajun poêlé, recouvert de bruschetta, et d'émail balsamique. This was a very flavorful dish and I would get it again, but a note of caution is that I found some bones in my salmon. I do believe I removed them all but I get alarmed when I see them.At the end of my meal, I ordered a shot of Grappa Digestif and I must say that was one of the best I’ve had.The restaurant was nicely decorated. I liked the wine display in the main dining room and the special Ferrari booth by the bar. Being the car enthusiast I am, I had to take a photo there.I'm definitely planning to come back here again.
