A absolute must. The food, the service & the love poured into every dish. As a lover of Indian food, this has by far been one of the best I’ve had. Will definetly be back! Adorable, cozy & delicious.

You can't go wrong with any of the menu items, all the food here is great. Tonight we had a birthday celebration and they were very accommodating, even bringing out a candle and singing! The only downside is the restroom, it really needs attention. Everything else is great.

Came for an early dinner tonight and had a wonderful time. The staff was very courteous and kind. Food was amazing. Will definitely be returning once in the area again!

I was visiting my son at university and took him and some friends for dinner. We showed up without a reservation as a party of 6 on a Friday night and luckily they were able to squeeze us in. The restaurant is quaint and welcoming. We asked the waiter to help us choose a mix of dishes that we could share and he didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious! The service was fabulous and the chef made sure to introduce himself to all the tables. We will definitely be back but I’ll make a reservation next time to be sure we can get a table because it was a busy spot.

My partner and I had an amazing date night dinner here. The veg thali and egg plant Bartha were both excellent and we really enjoyed that the chef came out to explain the menu and ask us how our meal was going. Highly recommend!

love love LOVEEEEE. first of all, the vibes, so aesthetic, so cozy, very charming and subtly refined. real candles, dimmed lights, and authentic silverware. secondly, the price point, very reasonable considering that you end up sharing a variety of dishes with a friend or a group of people. thirdly and most importantly, the food (and drinks): beyond speechless… we started off with the mango lasi and chicken skewers which took us by surprise because the flavours were out of this world, then we ordered the shahi paneer + lamb masala (with coconut milk reduction$ with rice and naan: such an appropriate and daring level of spices where the flavours just simply melt in your tongue like a symphony. highly recommend. 100/10. such a hidden gem!

We drive in from Ontario every year for a Habs game. Last year we came here for the first time on a recommendation. It was absolutely amazing. Back in the city this week and came in for our second time. The quality and authenticity is like no other. We wish we could take it back home with us. The owner is great, very personable, the service is the best I’ve had anywhere. I’d recommend this place to anyone. See you next time we’re in the city.

This meal was genuinely one of my favourite meals on the trip. We were visiting from Toronto and this place did not disappoint. We savoured every bite! The atmosphere was very cozy and comforting. Chef Simar was very friendly and served a meal to remember!

Amazing food from amazing people. After living in Montreal for 10 years, this is the best Indian food (and one of the best restaurants) I’ve tried in the city. Michelin star service and food for a fraction of the price. Spices in the curries are mixed in a layered and thoughtful fashion. Naan is to die for. Let yourself be guided by the chef - who talked to every table individually and checked in multiple times during the evening. I can see myself going back every month to this magical place!

Wonderful food as always, personally prepared, nuanced, and delicious. Cozy atmosphere in winter and a pleasant patio in summer. Darbar on Saint-Laurent has been our restaurant of choice on every Montreal visit for years.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal hands down. Our Valentine's meal was wonderful. Food was delicious as always and the atmosphere is cozy and conversation with fellow diners was inspiring. Staff are warm and always go above and beyond. Highly recommended.
