Amazing breakfest. Opens at 10pm and we arrived at 945am and a huge line formed up after us soon after. Obviously a very popular spot.

Fantastic Breakfast Place
Nice place with good service but a bit disappointed of the food, definitely not in the level of September, especially the pancakes which were just mid.
Great spot! We did have to wait over an hour, but the atmosphere and service made it worth it. As a vegan, I was able to piece together a meal from a couple of sides, which I appreciated. It would be even better to see a main that’s easy to customize (like swapping meat for tofu) or a dedicated vegan option. The coffee was delish! My party all really enjoyed their meals too!
Anthony absolutely made my day. Violently hungover (and on my birthday no less), i came in with little apetite and a lot of nausea, but amazing service and amazing food and drink. Anthony is the GOAT
You should come here. It was amazing. We had the ricotta pancakes and the chicken sandwich, it was spectacular!! Great service, great atmosphere. You will love it.
I came here for brunch, and it was absolutely delicious! I had the fried chicken burger, and wow, the flavors were amazing. The atmosphere is so nice, and the service was great. If you’re planning to come for brunch, try to get there early because there might be a bit of a wait in line. But trust me, the wait is totally worth it!
I found this restaurant on Google by searching "best brunches in Montreal". I also read another "world traveleing milennial's" article on the "10 best breakfast spots to go to" and figured this breakfast was going to be a homerun. We tried two times before around on the weekend where there was a line out the door, so no chance there. We finally got a table for four on a Tuesday arriving at 10am. The decor is nice, i'm sure the ceiling arches provide a great backdrop for that "mimosa while wearing my overcoat and adidas gazelles" or something hip like that, but that's probably the best this establishment can offer. I don't mind getting fancy or experimental with breakfast, but at the end of the day, I like the option to have some good scrambled eggs and nice european toast. Would it cost this restaurant too much to provide maybe a few omelette options? Once you get the menu, you'll know what I mean. The "Endless Summer Breakfast" is a fried egg on toast that could honestly have been used as a second plate. Very hard. The salad that goes along with it isn't your typical breakfast complimentary salad. Cherry tomatoes, zucchini mixed with Tzatziki sauce. Eh. I could think of a few better options. The pancakes were soggy and swimming in syrup. How about let the customer put the syrup on? They tasted okay, but not worth the marquee position on the menu. All the reviews i've read about these being the best pancakes ever...come on, pump your pancake brakes. They were okay. They don't have regular coffee. I get it. That's not en vogue. All the 20 and 30 year olds want the iced lattes. But how about drip coffee? You should at least have that. Instead, I have to get an Americano -- which is close to regular coffee...but, again, you have a beautiful spot, expensive latte machines and your job is breakfast. Just provide coffee. I can let food slide sometimes if the coffee gets me going. The barista brought us two americanos with the same excitement we saw from the Lynx and sleepy racoons at the Biodome. Zilch. Nada. Aucun. I understand keeeping the menu simple, but this was too simple and niche. I could read the faces of some of the over-50's like me as they flipped the menu over -- "Where's the rest?" $168 dollars later I learned my lesson - don't take restaurant advice from a 30 year old "world-traveling instagrammer". Long lines don't mean good food. They've just been overhyped by follows and likes from some influencer on the InstantGram. There is a spot 5 minutes away that is absolutely fantastic - Olive et Gourmando - go there.
Lovely brunch
The ambience is absolutely stunning and the service is warm, attentive, and truly top-notch..exactly what you’d hope for. Their coffee is a highlight; I’d come back just for that alone. The food is decent and enjoyable, though it hasn’t quite reached the same heights as the overall experience. A great spot overall
Pancakes good, rest overhyped
Waited 35min for pancakes when the table that arrived after us got their food, finished and left by the time we received our food. The waiter definitely made a mistake but didn't even apologize, instead the front door guy did (kudos to him). When the food finally got to our table, we realized that the entire restaurant had their food except us and another couple which arrived before us and also didn't get their food (from the same waiter). We returned the pancakes to the kitchen because waiting 35min for pancakes made no sense and we had to another appointment. We brunched on April 3rd at 10am and the waiter was wearing a Kaws shirt. He saw that we were getting impatient and didn't rush the kitchen nor apologize. I loved Dandy but this was a disappointment.
Fantastic find! Was looking for a brunch place that was open during the weekdays to meet a friend. The menu is limited but everything on the menu looks great! My friend tried the chicken salad and loved it. I tried the buttermilk chicken sandwich and was surprised to see the size of the sandwich!! The chicken was super crispy and just delicious. Would definitely go back again to try other dishes for my next brunch. Also the service is very friendly and awesome!
Was so excited to try this place but the service was really awful. Food was alright, nothing I would go back for. The espresso tasted very burnt and sour :(
Customer service was not the best… Food was good.
Ricotta pancakes were phenomenal
Great brunch spot! The cocktails are terrific and the London fog was very good. Got the chicken Sandwich and it was extremely crispy and flavorful!
Food arrived quickly, friendly and conscientious staff. Will return.
This is our second time in Dandy. It’s an amazing all-day brunch option in an excellent brunch city.
Super cute spot in old Montreal. Great vibes - short menu but what they do, they do so well! Came in for lunch and got seated right away - but it was a Monday… so no guarantees on a weekend. Super friendly staff, excellent playlist! We had the pasta and chicken salad. Fresh, delicious ingredients and arrived in the right amount of time. Also had the lemonade - yum!
The ricotta pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had! I couldn't believe how good they were. Dandy is such a cute spot, lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great service
Probably one of the best services we had during our visit in Montreal. Our server was very attentive and we were greeted warmly. Our food and drinks were fantastic. I will definitely be back 🤗 We came early in the morning and there was no wait so I'm not sure if there's a wait later on in the day.
Not only was this the best breakfast I’ve had on this trip, but it was the best meal overall. Delicious food, friendly and kind waiters, and the atmosphere was lively and fun but not overwhelming. We got the ricotta pancakes, fried chicken sandwich, and side of smashed potato fingerlings. Every single item was superb! I’m going to be dreaming about those pancakes for weeks. The chicken was soooo tender. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Highly highly recommend. My only regret is not finding this place sooner during our trip so we could come here more than once!
Went for brunch on the weekend. Foods options were limited. Cost and quality of food/execution did not match. Overpriced for the taste and ingredients. Flat white was 6/10.
Pancakes were amazing, good sourdough. Will definitely be back.
