I had dinner at Damas as we were visiting from Calgary. George was amazing he helped with picking the meals. He was very accommodating and was super kind. He made sure we left with big smiles. Highly recommended!! 10/10

Such an amazing experience, the restaurant appears small but opens up to give the feeling of cozy small establishment while being able to provide seats for lots of people. We had the tasting menu with 9 courses and paired it with the wine tasting. The food was delicious, flavourful ,and fresh. Each bite had the ability to slow time. Our waiter explained everything as they came and answered any questions we had with a smile. Amazing service from him. The wine never missed, I have had the pairings at other restaurants and the flavour pallets repeat or mask eachother. Our sommelier hit the mark for every dish providing a complimentary taste and a different flavour profile on each sample. Never felt repetitive or average he hit the mark every time. Overall great restaurant. I thought the food was good but not great, especially for the price. unfortunately I’ve been spoiled by some amazing middle eastern food living in DC. The service was good though and they had some good mocktails as well.

Great service. Every dish was fresh and flavourful. Dress nice! This is a beautiful restaurant and I saw so many people in sweats… you will pay a pretty penny but worth it for a nice occasion.

Beautiful restaurant, incredible food, absolutely one of the best middle eastern meals I have ever had the pleasure of consuming - as my favourite cuisine that is saying something. The shish borek dumplings were an absolute favourite and a core food memory. Incredible flavours! Service felt a bit rushed at times and our server was keen to upsell us a $30 fattoush salad, but we had more than enough food in our order.

Stopped by at Damas on a weeknight a couple weeks back and the lamb shawarma plate was just as good as I remembered from years of going there. The staff remembered my usual order even though it had been a few months, which always makes the place feel less like a restaurant and more like a second kitchen. It gets loud and busy around 7pm so I'd grab a seat a bit earlier if you want to actually hear your table talk. Still my go-to spot in the city for Lebanese food after all this time.

Spectacular evening. We splurged and did the tasting menu. Every dish was delicious, but the standouts were the stuffed zucchini flowers, the lamb Kibbe and the lamb chops. The Mediterranean wine pairing was incredibly well done - one of the most "on point" pairings we have ever done. We are quite sophisticated wine drinkers, but we were exposed to wine categories we had never had. Well done. Theo was an excellent server, as was the sommelier. We will be back the next time we are in Montreal.

Damas was recommended to us as we were in Montreal for the long weekend. The place is beautiful; great selection; however very pricy for what you get. One skewer of chicken or Lamb ($48-52) is insane.

A must-try if you’re in Montreal and have the funds to splurge on a meal. If you’re a solo diner, the tasting menu is a great way to try a wide variety of dishes. Portions are very generous so come hungry! Come thirsty too — the drinks are delicious! Ambiance was great and so was the service.

Stopped by for a quick bite on a weeknight around 8pm and ended up staying way longer than planned because the lamb was that good. The lighting over the bar area made for a great shot before the food even arrived, all warm wood tones and soft hanging fixtures. Our server noticed me fiddling with my camera and actually offered to dim the overhead lights at our table a touch so the plating photos would come out cleaner, which I was not expecting. Place was busy but never felt rushed, and the hummus with the lamb shoulder is worth going back for alone.

Stopped by for a late lunch last weekend and ended up staying almost two hours because the patio was too nice to leave. The lamb shoulder was fall-apart tender and the hummus had that smoky char you don't usually get outside Beirut. Our server kept checking in without being pushy about it, even though the place was packed around 2pm. Already planning to bring my parents next time, it felt like a proper weekend treat rather than just another brunch spot.

Finally got to try the amazing Damas in Montreal! Tried a bunch of different things on the menu and was so impressed. Really enjoyed the Fatteh Mozat, fattoush salad and mixed dips with bread. It’s a great place to go with a group or as a couple. The staff is well-versed to answer questions. The price is worth the hype. We will definitely be back!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had recently! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the quality and flavors of the food were amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made the whole experience even better. The hospitality and attention to detail were truly appreciated. Amazing restaurant!! Aelia was very kind, serving us with a big smile on her face the entire time! She even went above and beyond and gave us recommendations for a couple bars in Montreal since we are from Kingston, Ontario. Thank you for a phenomenal experience! You will not be disappointed!
