I don't think I have witness a better service in any restaurant that I've been too. The food was great, service A1. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a bit on the pricey end but it is surely worth every penny!
Fine dining good food kinda slow
The dishes were high quality and the service was fantastic. Our server, George, was attentive, kind, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu options. The food was served quickly, and everything was excellent. We ordered the baba ghanoush as a starter, followed by the eggplant lamb kebab and the lamb shank, all of which were delicious. It’s on the pricier side, so it’s a great choice for a special occasion.

Everything in this place makes you want to come back as fast as possible. The food menu is varied and the taste is so good. The service is impeccable whether at reception or at the table. The waiters know the dishes and help you understand the differences. I highly recommend.
This restaurant is very overpriced considering the food is only OKAY.The sharing menu is 160$ and is NOT worth it . Extremely small portions .The service is amazing and the restaurant is clean and nice.

Everything was really good! Just a little too expensive! 18$ for potatoes is a little much. Either than that service was top and good was delicious.
Amazing atmosphere and the staff were very attentive to details. The food… my god the food was phenomenal. We had the rack of ribs and the braised ribs as mains, with lamb dumplings and spicy potatoes as apps. They also gave us complementary dishes for the delay in the service, (which we didnt mind at all) but just the attention let us know what kind of establishment Damas is. Would highly reccomend, even if its a bit pricey. It is worth it. I will definitely come back!
Stay away from this place as much as you possibly can. $400 for 2 and it was total garbage. They also treat you like they are doing a favour in letting you inside their establishment (I would not call this a restaurant). Our waiter was rude and obnoxious. This is without a doubt, the worse place I have ever eaten in my life. If you are satisfied to pay over $400 for food barely worth $40. Go ahead. But you've been warned!!
Loved this place. We shared the cold mezze platter, the lentils, the Aleppo lamb kebab and the pistachio dessert. We also loved our cocktails: the ginger cocktail and the saffron apricot Bellini. Service was excellent. Absolutely no complaints. Will definitely return. Thanks for the memories ❤️
Great food, fresh ingredients, and really good service. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely coming back!
Very different experience from our other visits. Our first three choices from the wine list were not available. Then we were given the bottom of a bottle from the previous night and we had to return it. Several items on the menu were also missing; notably common items like fries and rice. The fattoush was very ordinary and the shish taouk portion was smaller and served with bland potatoes. Twice now we have been very disappointed; won't be going back any time soon. Almost feels like a change of management?
Phenomenal experience
Probably my favourite restaurant in Montreal. Stand outs were the Rack of lamb, and lamb dumplings (Shish Borek). Even the ice cream with cotton candy was unique and memorable. Service was impeccable. Rack of lamb took awhile to come out but not an issue given how good the food was. Highly recommend
Way too over priced and overhyped. Similar and better food at other restaurants in Montreal like Kaza Maza. They also emptied a bottle of wine and finished the glass from a second bottle in same glass which is not acceptable especially at an “upscale” restaurant. Would definitely not come back or recommend.
Fantastic service and great food. Must recommend place if you’re looking for Syrian / Lebanese food with a fine dining experience.

I'm really sensitive to over pricing as I feel it can ruin the whole meal even if the food is good, but in Damas' case it doesn't even feel overpriced. Every dish is created with care with the best ingredients and a unique take on a lot of the best classics.
Absolutely amazing service from everyone. Especially our server, Nick. Extremely knowledgeable and they truly know what they're doing. Every plate we tried was wonderful
