The worst service for Daldongnae. Went to several different locations and this was the worst!!!! Only one server working for the whole restaurant so had to remind them and still brought wrong item. Very disappointed at this location.

Very vibey inside like you're in a street market in Asia. Also each table feels a little intimate in setting and there are wall separators so it's not too loud. Each table has a range hood it's not too loud and it's super efficient I didn't come out with my clothes or hair smelling. You get a bunch of side dishes you can refill unlimited and the food was all really good. Our bibimbap bowl didn't have the crust at the bottom but they corrected the issue. The meat all tasted really good. We also ordered a marinated meat but got the unmarinated and was charged unmarinated meat so nbd but I would say to double check your order to be sure it's what you got and up to your standard. They're accommodating. Service was great, you can flag down any server and ask for what you need. We got the short ribs, pork Jowl, pork shoulder. All delicious, different, tender. Various sauces too. Next time, I'd probably not get the bibimbap and just more meat.

Recommended Korean BBQ place in Montreal. We had the baby short ribs as recommended by our waiter, and these were indeed exceptional. We also had a ribeye which was good. The set that comes with the meat is impressive (good cucumber kimchi, sweet corn with cheese, amazing onions mix and many other..) The service was perfect thanks to our amazing waiter.

The marinated pork shoulder was incredibly good. The finger ribs were better than the average and most of the sides were fine.

It was very dark in there and the service was off. They didn’t explain much and it was hard to flag them down. I was not finished and they kept turning off my burner. It made me feel very rushed. The food was good, but the portions were very small.

Food is soooo good. Service is sooo bad. There is a service girl who has a lot of attitude while we were paying. Me and my friends were treated with disrespect. Won’t come anymore, even though the food is awesome (btw, there is a girl with magenta-purple hair, she is great, really thoughtful)

We’ve been there many times, everything was great, but we were unlucky to be served twice in a row by a waitress (forgot her name but it was definitely not Lee) who was quite mean and cold, along with not giving a great service. We really liked the food but we’ll most likely not take that chance again.

The food is amazing and this place is always vibing! Kim was very helpful and professional, when we accidentally ordered the wrong item on the menu, Kim helped us solve the problem right away. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ve always considered this restaurant an amazing place, and it has been one of our go-to spots for celebrating important occasions. In the past, everything has been excellent. However, during today, I felt quite uncomfortable with the service. I had to pay for parking, and from the time we parked until we had only just finished our meal, it had been only 1 hour and 10 minutes. Despite this, the server rushed us to pay while my friend was still in the middle of eating, which I found unacceptable. Additionally, throughout the meal, we felt ignored. Even when we asked for assistance, it was difficult to get the server’s attention. This lack of attentiveness made the overall experience disappointing. After the meal, I still chose to leave a tip out of respect for the kitchen team. However, I do not feel that the level of service we received reflected the standard that would normally justify it. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had.

Worst service we’ve ever experienced! The employees didn’t respond when we greeted them or even when they asked us questions, they simply turned away right after we answered. We only asked for a banchan refill once, which seems completely reasonable, but they appeared annoyed and ignored us for the rest of the meal. We finished eating in about an hour, and while I was still chewing, the server started clearing everything off the table without asking and then rushed us to pay, even though it was only 8 pm. We felt pressured to leave. It’s disappointing because we used to come here every month for Korean BBQ for the meat quality. It was one of our go to spots for gatherings and celebrations, but the service has consistently gone down each time we’ve visited.

An amazing, authentic Korean barbecue spot in the center of downtown Montreal! Daldongnae has very high quality meats and lots of unlimited banchan to enjoy while you feast. Keep in mind that you do have to cook your own meats, but the servers are still very attentive if you need anything. The seafood pancake here was also quite tasty—crispy and filled with a variety of ingredients. If you’re craving a classic Korean meat marathon, definitely check out Daldongnae!

Had a really great experience at Daldongnae Korean BBQ in Montreal. The quality of the meat definitely stood out compared to other Korean BBQ spots I’ve tried. The service was also excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help without being overbearing, which made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. There’s a minimum order of one meat per person. Would definitely come back!

Overall a tasty and fun place for dinner! As a pescatarian, I greatly enjoyed the shrimps, eggs and corn-cheese. The side dishes are very varied, tasted authentic, and were nicely spiced. The sauces are flavourful yet light which is wonderful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a bit more seafood options, perhaps calamari as another option for grilling. Great vibes and they have a pull-down grill ventilator to get most of the grilling smoke out!

We came here as last resort since the other bbq shops were full but we're surprised at how good this place is. This is like the staple of kbbq in canada, everyone knows this place. We ordered 2 types of meat (1 pork, 1 beef) and it came with so many other side dishes and soup. The layout of the grill is so unique, with very delicious egg stew and cheese and corn. The soybean paste stew was also amazing as it paired well with the meats. They gave us a bit of lettuce but I wish they gave us more. Sauces were provided too. Overall would definitely come back here.

Everything was great! The staff was really sweet. One of the servers accidentally dropped some dishes on the table but he offered us free drinks to make up for it. I've been here multiple times already and the experience is always amazing:)

Great food at great prices. Don’t be shy to eat somewhere that charges for food per portion. It’s hard to go wrong with any of the meats. Save the rice and the sides and go straight for the kbbq!

Tried it for the first time last weekend. Waiters provide quick service. The banchan are delicious. The alcohol is great, the popsicle cocktail is a genius idea. Also, pretty irrelevant, but was very happy to hear Ateez playing😁
