Store looked close looks like a dump soup tasted old sandwitch was great tho and woman at the cash was nice.

I’ve been going to Dagwoods for a while because the sandwiches actually taste really good, the bread is fresh, the toppings are nice, and overall the flavour is there. That’s why this is frustrating to write. The turkey portions are honestly way too small. Every time I order a turkey sandwich it looks packed when it’s wrapped, but once you open it there are only a few thin slices inside. For the price you pay, it feels like you’re mostly eating bread and lettuce. I’m not asking for an overstuffed deli sandwich, just a normal amount of meat so it actually feels like a turkey sandwich. I still like the place and I’ll probably come back, but right now it doesn’t feel worth it compared to other sandwich spots. If they just fixed the turkey portions, this would easily be a much higher rating.

My first ever 1 star review. I’ve never left a negative review before but if I’m not honest then the restaurant has no chance of improving. I understand employees can be tired and frustrated but that’s no excuse for rude and insulting behaviour. This is a coaching opportunity that I hope does not go unnoticed. It doesn’t matter if a restaurant costs $10 or $100. That is not an excuse to be treated with such disrespect.
