Entire family enjoyed the meal. Friendly staff. Zero issues.
What guests say about Crêperie Chez Suzette
Crêperie Chez Suzette receives a lot of praise for its crepes, fondues, and soups, with portions often described as generous and the food as flavorful. The service is frequently described as warm, attentive, and fast, even during busy periods. However, a few reviews mention dishes served cold or inconsistently, long waits, and reservations sometimes poorly handled. The place seems appreciated for its friendly atmosphere, but the experience can vary depending on the time and how busy it is.

Great food + the staff were very nice even helping us take a picture without us asking👍
Food was good but heavy.
Worst experience ever. This is the worst onion soup I've ever had. I hope this review will be helpful to anyone going there specifically for the onion soup. The soup is bland and lacks depth of flavor. The bread inside, despite being soaked in the soup, is so hard you can't even bite through it. However, since I couldn’t bear to waste food, I decided to finish everything. As I was eating, I found the bread at the bottom of the onion soup was too hard to eat, so I told the waiter about it. The waiter said he’d check with the chef and headed toward the kitchen. After that, he went back to work as if nothing had happened. He then came to ask for payment as if nothing had happened. When I mentioned the onion soup, he asked if I didn’t want to pay. Then, in a high-handed manner, he insisted that I had eaten the onion soup. I had every intention of paying the bill and leaving a 20% tip, but for some reason, he started lecturing me, insisting that I had eaten the onion soup. Even while I was paying, he never once looked away from the screen, as if to make sure I was leaving the tip. This is the first time I’ve ever had a meal with such a rude server. When I got home, my stomach started hurting, as if I had mild food poisoning. I left a tip, but the service was so terrible that I honestly felt like giving a 0% rating. I can’t understand why they were so intimidating and lectured me like that. I’ve never given a one-star rating or anything like that in past reviews, so as not to upset the restaurant.
Good restaurant with a lot of different choices. I tried the triple fondue service and .I had a blast! There was a lot of food more than I could eat.
Can only base this review on one item - their crepe Suzette. Was quite disappointed with this item. The crepes were soft and wet being drenched in a ton of sauce. And it wasn't flambayed as one would expect. Just felt like this was thrown together without care. Would not recommend this.
Absolutely delicious!
I know it seems strange to give 5 stars on everything but 4 overall. I will explain later as I don’t want to take from this gem. Service from the moment we walked in until we left was very friendly and attentive. Offered suggestions, remembered sans gluten, kept water filled. We started with escargot. It was nicely done in garlic butter. We ordered crepes and a bagel. It was going to a sandwich but when asked if it was good, the waiter replied second best one. Asked what was first and he pointed to the bagel. Obviously we had to get the best. They remembered gluten free. The sans gluten crepe was spongy, easy to cut, and delicious. We thought about fondue but decided we were full. However we ordered banana Nutella crepe. It came with a Nutella rolled crepe in center, strawberries in one side, bananas in the other. It was topped with two big mounds of whipped cream on each end and a scoop of ice-cream in the middle. We split it three ways which was perfect. Atmosphere was relaxing. It was not packed full of tables to allow for quiet conversations and easy maneuverability. So why stars? The glasses of water were our concern. Two had lipstick residue. We know lipstick is challenging to get off but still didn’t feel right having “dirty” glasses. Sorry I did not have my phone so no pictures. Definitely a good choice of eateries!
Great atmosphere and the crepes are to die for. Service is amazing! Highly recommend. Coming back to try the fondues :)
Great place!! Food amazing and great service! We have to support and go during the winter season which is a bit slow for the restaurants in this area. It was not too crowded but normal for a Wednesday night! Recommended!
Excellent
The food, atmosphere, and service was superb! I will need to come back and try more!
So good!
Best place in old montreal to get crepes. Dont mess around with the other places. Im sad that we old tried it on the last day of our trip. I would have like to try their fondue.
Really beautiful and wholesome vibes, super friendly service. Great way to enjoy the old port
The crêpe was SO good!😋
Cedric is the best!
Delicious crepes. So good!!
Service was terrible. Food was great and loved the interior. Valentine’s Day deal was solid
The reviews are highly overrated. The service was not great, and the only redeeming factor was the dessert crepe.
Really enjoyed the cheese and beef fondue! The staff is very helpful, friendly and overall amazing service. Crepes were also very delicious too! You have to check out this place if you are in the area!
I reserved a table days in advance, which they ignored once I arrived there saying that they're overbooked. No cancellation notification.
Slow service, meh food…
I go there to have my crepe and enjoy a warm cup of coffee. For lunch I have the soup and a sandwich. The varieties are appealing and people are friendly. The area is comfortable. Well done.
Very good service and tasty food. The crepes were amazing.
