Tried Coq Royal in the food court at Laurier Québec, and it was disappointing overall.We ordered the burger croustillant original. The taste wasn’t memorable — it didn’t have any distinctive or flavorful elements. The burger didn’t feel special or worth the price. Even though I was the only client at that time, it still took a long time to receive my order, and the communication from staff was weak and disorganized.The idea of using two large croissant pieces as the bun didn’t work well in practice. They were hard to bite into, making the burger awkward and not very enjoyable to eat.Overall, the taste was underwhelming, service was slow, and the croissant bun concept didn’t translate into a good experience. Not recommended if you’re expecting something flavorful and well-executed.
