A nostalgic neighborhood restaurant in Westmount. Such a great location. After being out of the area for so long? I wanted to expose my now young adult daughter to what I experienced at her age. Montreal being a hub for great food and exposure to great chefs, it is a shame that Copoli has not maintained their passion of serving their signature Copoli burger with pride. The chef does the service the cooking, which can be a nice touch for a small resto, however, the beef patty was so much smaller the their homemade bread and was rubbery like a Havaianas flip flop. As the chef came to get our food he asked me if everything was Okay since I didnt eat the food. With polite disappointment I expressed that it was not what I had decades ago and that it was not edible. He took offence and his ego took over and he expressed as he walked away that he makes over 60 burgers a day and its the same as it has always been....Gordon Ramsey would have a field day with this scenario. Being in the restaurant business for many years it's important to say that customers are not always right, but customers are who pay and make your business grow. Don't be fooled by their motto of "The biggest and most delicious burger in Montreal". There are so many other burger places in Montreal that will give you an experience, quality food for the price and great service. So unfortunate for the experience but thank you for showing my daughter that sometimes doing the same thing every day for decades does not make it great unless, you do it with INTEGRITY. Best wishes
Reviews / Ratings for Copoli
My family went there for supper. The boys were pleased with the menu options. Two of us ordered pizzas and the other two ordered burgers (regular and chicken). The food was all around excellent. Made from scratch for sure, including the hamburger buns! I also loved the booths and the eclectic art collection on the walls. The music that was playing brought me back to my childhood, in the 80s. The service was a little slow, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. There were only two people handling everything - they may have been a couple, or relatives, or friends and business partners... I didn't ask. But they were sweet and treated their customers like family. Upon arrival, the cook/server/cashier was holding the front door open for a disabled person who was leaving. Just clearly super people. Maybe don't be in a rush if you're going there on a Tuesday evening. You could pre-order takeout to save time, I suppose. But regardless, the food and ambiance were worth the wait.
Very friendly and nice atmosphere
Copoli is a true Montréal institution that’s been doing its own thing forever. Thin but flavorful patties, standout homemade bread, and classic toppings done right. Not fancy, but consistently satisfying, nostalgic, and the kind of easy, no-fuss spot you find yourself coming back to again and again.
The food is made with love here you can tell!
Nice and cozy food
Literally waited more than 10mins for the worst pizza I have ever. It just random ingredients thrown on top of each other n it was tasteless , meatless . Not worth $20 btw .The workers were really nice tho
Very very nice, feeling home good and a very beautiful
