What guests say about Complexe Dix80

The rooms are often described as clean, renovated, comfortable, and well equipped, with breakfast appreciated by many guests. However, noise between rooms and poor soundproofing come up often, which can detract from the stay. Front desk service is sometimes seen as courteous, but others have had poor experiences with the welcome, management, and the property’s policies. The value for money is considered fair by some, but too high by others.

Pros: The rooms are big, clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The breakfast is quite abundant and varied; it would only need some boiled eggs, cheese, or another source of protein to be perfect. The reception staff are friendly and polite.Cons:The pet fee is ridiculously high ($40, and they also charge taxes on top of that, which makes no sense). Total = $46. It is the highest pet fee I paid during my trip from Montreal to Calgary. For example, in Ontario, Winnipeg, and Saskatchewan, many motels don’t even charge a pet fee. What some other places do is charge a refundable deposit in case of damages, rather than a non-refundable fee for no particular reason. For this reason, I would not return.Noise: You can hear absolutely everything from the adjacent rooms. In fact, a couple was arguing quite loudly and aggressively during my stay, including shouting, which affected my sense of safety. Staff members who were nearby at the time, should be vigilant and intervene in this kind of situation.

Renovated, clean rooms, comfortable beds and a quick breakfast service of toast and snacks. You can even stock up on snacks for the road ahead.

When we arrived for one night it was a completely empty motel, one car in the parking lot. We check in and get into our room, room is clean and fine, then they check someone in directly above us. The whole motel is empty yet they checked the next people in directly above us…. The people stomped and stomped and stomped above us non stop to the point it kept waking me as I’m sleeping. It was absolutely awful. Where were the brains in the operation when there is a completely empty motel to put what I can only assume is children above your what I assume to be only other guests. If the motel were full I’d get it, you get what you get and deal but the place is empty and this was a logical choice. All I can say is luckily my better half was present to keep me grounded because I’d choose less than kindness and a bad review if it hadn’t been for them keeping me civilized. There is absolutely zero anything stopping noise from travelling through the whole place so if you want a peaceful quiet stay, I suggest finding another location because this isn’t it.

A hidden GEM inside …from outside it’s a non-descript drive-in motel …but the rooms are really nice and newly renovated and styling with comfortable furniture! Lovely bathroom too! Nice check in and easy stay, especially by Skidoo as it’s directly on a trail. Also share parking lot with a Ben&Florentine and a St-Hubert.

extremely impressed by this motel. dont be fooled by the outside look. it is renovated and really clean. i stayed at the best western and the price was double what this motel was, and much worst. the bed was extremely comfortable, big shower, microwave, nice size fridge and a coffee machine. the breakfeast included is in the check in area...it is small but you have fruits, bagels, cookies, granola bars, juices and coffee! strongly recommend this accomodation.
