We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, especially after hearing so many great things beforehand. We had a reservation for 5:30 and were seated on time, but it took quite a while before anyone came to take our drink order. While the restaurant was busy, we tried to be understanding. Our appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but after that, everything went downhill. We sat for over an hour without anyone checking on us. Our drinks were empty and no one offered refills or even came by the table. This was particularly frustrating because we had tickets to the Carnaval parade that evening and were on a timeline. Around 7:00, our waitress finally returned and told us that our meal order had been lost due to a printer issue and had only just been sent to the kitchen. At that point, we had no choice but to leave in order to make the parade. To make matters worse, she brought us the full bill for the drinks and appetizers without any discount or meaningful apology. After spending so much time waiting and ultimately not even receiving our meals, this felt very dismissive. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and not at all what we expected.

Great spot of you're exploring Quebec. Etienne was amazing and the food was delicious. The drinks were great as well. A+
Overpriced for mediocre fare. Service is slow. Environment is nice though. Would not come back, better food in the city.
Delicious
After a long day wandering through the charming streets of Quartier Petit Champlain, the cold had settled into my bones. Even through my gloves, I could feel the crisp winter air biting at my fingers. The streets were alive with crowds — both locals and tourists — weaving through the cobblestone lanes, laughter echoing off the heritage buildings. I loved everything about Quebec City: its warmth, its beauty, and the way it seems to glow in the winter light. On our way back to the hotel, my friend picked a restaurant known for its famous pork dishes — and they absolutely delivered. The pork chop arrived with a slight pinkish hue, perfectly cooked, tender, and unbelievably flavorful. It didn’t taste like anything I’d ever had before. The beef tartare was just as impressive — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The place itself was buzzing. Stylish and full of energy, it attracted a mix of locals and travelers, yet everyone seemed to fit effortlessly into the ambience, like characters in a well-written novel. Even the restroom setup caught me by surprise — it was gender neutral, and for a moment, I thought I had wandered into the wrong side! 😋 The staff were friendly, professional, and impressively bilingual. Their upbeat energy kept the atmosphere lively, and my cocktail — only about $9 — was delicious and well made. After a full day of exploring, we devoured every dish that came our way. Everything from the service to the setting to the food itself felt perfectly in sync. Highly, highly recommend! 🥰
no one really liked their dinners and peer pressured me into giving a sub par review. it was very average tasting, not really great for the price
WE LOVE IT! Came back twice during our trip to Quebec. Every time their service and food was top notch. I highly recommend their Gourmand au Caramel Salé latte! The milk is so creamy and it’s not overly sweet is just perfect balance. They have a large selection of items in their menu so honestly anyone could find something they will like, even if you’re vegetarian or have dietary restrictions. They have an amazing system and you can tell! From the moment you arrive there’s someone that will assign you to a table or will tell you the wait time depending on how crowded it is. And it doesn’t matter how many people there are the food always gets to your table in a timely manner and your server is always looking out if you need something or making sure everything is good.
Great brunch and gluten free!
I went there twice the same day..for brunch and supper. Brunch was amazing , all of it, food , service , atmosphere Supper I was given some cold fish and chips. The fish was still frozen under the breading. The server quickly went to change it and everything was ok afterwards. The liver was extremely delicious
