On December 30th, 2025, I had dinner at this restaurant, and I accidentally left my purse behind. The next morning when I realized, I went directly to the restaurant to retrieve it, but it was not there. I returned in the evening so that I could speak with my server directly, who told me that she did not see it, and that she did not clear our table. She wrote my number on a scrap of paper and put it in a drawer with many other scraps of paper. I have not heard from the establishment. I have my own strong suspicions about what happened to my purse, but I will leave you to form your own opinion. The only reason I am writing this review is because since telling friends my story they have asked me where I was so that they will not patronize the establishment. I figured others might want to make their own decisions based on my experience. Food was fine, and I have had better tarte au sucre.

Our first experience at Le Cochon Dingue today, and we loved it - such a perfect spot in Le Quartier des Spectacles, great service, excellent prices, stellar décor! We look forward to returning - thank you!

As the evening passed by, all I could think was "How did this restaurant get a 4.5 rating?!? Are we cruelly unlucky? Maybe it was a bad night, but the food was average at best. Some elements were so off we could not eat them. But the real culprit was the service. Don't what was happening with our server but a robot probably could have been nicer. With all the choices around, I don't think it's worth it.
