We tried Ciccio’s and Bossa back to back. The bread is so much softer at Bossa and their flavors actually hit. Ciccio’s bread is pretty tough like it was literally hurting our mouths to eat. And taste wise, it tastes fresh but it felt like nothing I couldn’t just throw together myself with stuff from a grocery store. Tiramisu was super small considering its price.. This is just our personal preference between the two Italian sandwich shops nearby.

We have a great deal of respect for Bossa and are fortunate to share a city with other businesses that are passionate about Italian food.
That said, we're surprised by parts of your experience. Nearly all of our deli meats are imported directly from Italy, our condiments are made in-house or crafted from carefully sourced Italian and local ingredients, and our bread is baked fresh daily exclusively for Ciccio's by a local artisan baker. These are things we invest heavily in because we believe quality starts with ingredients.
Reading your review, our concern isn't so much that you preferred a different style of sandwich—which is completely fair—but that we may not have executed to the standard we expect from ourselves. As we've grown, we've welcomed many new team members, and maintaining consistency through training is something we work on every single day.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the tiramisu. Ours is made traditionally with real mascarpone and premium ingredients, without fillers or shortcuts, which is a choice we make even when it costs us more.
