Cozy place serving chinese/peruvian fusion. Service was a bit slow. The menu was interesting, cocktails were refreshing. I was expecting the picarones to be deep fried like they do in peru but i think they were baked. But other than that we had a great experience. Food was delicious, just wished i enjoyed dessert more

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chifa is a fantastic spot in Montreal for a date night or a fun dinner with friends. The skewer combo was a great choice — bold, flavorful, and a nice way to try different meats. The deep-fried chicken was really good too, especially with the sauce. The beef was a little overcooked, but it still tasted great overall. The absolute highlight of the meal was the corn cake dessert. It’s a MUST-ORDER!!!. The warm corn cake with cold vanilla ice cream creates the perfect hot-and-cold contrast in every bite, and it was easily the standout dish of the night. The cocktails were excellent as well. Prices are on the higher side, averaging about $95 per person after tax before tip, but the quality of the food, drinks, and atmosphere makes it worth it. A very memorable experience overall.

Amaaaaazing food. Familiar enough for the palate but with the right amount of "fusion flair" to be surprising. I suggest not sitting at the bar, but the atmosphere is amazing. The group section in back for like 10-12 people is GREAT

Love this place - the only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 for atmosphere is because we were a group of 8 spread across two small tables of 4. If you are a larger group, the party table/room is the way to go - but, it was occupied by an even larger group during our reserved time, can't blame them ! So, that was too bad but otherwise, the service is outstanding, every dish was super tasty! I highly recommend Chifa - and just let them feed you - skip the menu and decisions. If you tell them your food preferences, they will bring a variety of dishes expertly timed for full enjoyment!

Unfortunately last visit. I’ve had birthdays here, brought my employees here many times and had frequent date nights here. We booked three weeks ago for Valentines and were seated in a makeshift back of the bar area by employee chargers facing the back of a big coffee machine. When I asked to move to an empty table, I was told it was reserved for “advanced bookings” and it stayed empty all night. The menu hasn’t changed in years, and our waitress never came back for drinks. overall for the price, location and nothing for repeat customers… We’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

The service was great, the atmosphere was perfect. The but, I didn't feel the real peruvian chifa flavor on the dish that I took. I would put maybe, as part of the decoration on the plate a couple of wanton. The portions were small, was no taipa at all.
