It is a lovely quiet restaurant right in the middle of old Quebec. We were greeted with a pot of green tea and room temperature water (a real luxury in Quebec where all you get everywhere is freezing cold with ice cubes floating sometimes, which I totally cannot drink no matter how thirsty I am). We ordered spring rolls, banh mi and the vermicelli with meat dish. Each one was awesome. The portion size was good. The two of us were really full at the end of the meal. The proprietor lady os always smiling, an added bonus. Oh, you should try the pineapple coconut milk! We had lunch here on a special Saturday. It was amazing 😍.

Incredible, authentic Vietnamese food served by lovely people in a cozy setting. I highly recommend the pork vermicelli bowl or the tofu bahn mi! A wonderful place to get some fresh, unique flavors amongst the heavier fare that is more common around QC.
Small and cozy place with very nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and they welcomed us with a hot cup of tee :)
Just don’t order the pho. Worst I’ve ever had. Banh mi is good but the pho taste like salty soup with chili. For 20$ it’s a rip-off. Don’t… take… the… pho… you’re welcome in advance ;)
We ordered the chicken vermicelli bowls and they were DAMN amazing 😊 We waited in the dining area which was colorful, had warm friendly vibes and the server gave us a drink while we waited 💛 Next time we pass through, we will definitely order here again!!!
Great banh mi, great service. I am still thinking about the banh mi here after my Quebec city trip. It is really one-of-a-kind banh mi. I grew up in Vietnam so I know the taste from both the north and the south, and let me be clear, there is nothing called Authentic taste. The taste always varies, only the toppings are the same. This place really tries to make banh mi to another level from an average street food / quick meal style. My speculation is that they try some French culinary techniques to make it meet the local standard. Firstly, the bread is really good. It is crispy but it melts in the mouth. Then, the butter feels slightly buttery and more likes scramble eggs. The overall taste is a balance of everything. For most people, banh mi is definitely overpriced if they are used to the quick $5-$7 one from supermarket. Yet, for the effort they put in it, I think the price is fair. The atmosphere is a bit small and furnitures are old 😀
5 dishes only but they saved my appetizer for the whole 5 days trip in Québec. I could not digest anything, perhaps the icy cold made my appetizer numb. 🦐The rolls for starting are the must, I could not resist. 🥖Bánh mì, I could finish 2 (the crispy crunch from the bread 🤌🏻 with the savory meat) 🍲 Pho is a bit salty soup for me, however, it was a kick to warm up my body. ☕️ Vietnamese coffee, I finished 2 as well, so so satisfied. *P/s: The owner is very cute, her hospitality welcomed me to this city.
I ordered a vermicelli noodle plate and instead of the vermicelli i got mushy spaghetti…
In a super touristy place but not a tourist trap!!! Came with my boyfriend who approves of it's authenticity. The simpler the menu the better!!!!!!
