I was conflicted whether to order a burger at the Time Out Market or something more exotic but I kept getting drawn to Chez Simon and boy was that the right decision. I wanted to try poutine in Montreal but found my one attempt earlier in the week anti-climatic. I decided to try it again here and it was everything I dreamed of. Crispy fries (the fries were great), nice brown sauce and millions of squeaky cheese curds. This is what I thought poutine should be and I loved it, they did an incredible job. I took out the middle bun in the Mr Big burger (could not understand the French menu) and it was an excellent burger, but it was the poutine that stole the show.
