This is an over 100 years diner.it is tiny but cozy. Staffs are warming and nice. We had lunch menu with club sandwich and a goat cheese salad with extra chicken salad. It is very good!

Old school diner feel and a neighborhood go to. Their breakfast potatoes were great. The only thing too mention was daughter found he crepe way too salty. The actual crepe itself. I tried it and have to say I agree. Not sure if this is the norm or a one off. Other than that the egg in the whole, meat breakfast and omelet tea had by others were delicious. Would recommend

UNIUE & Impeccable people the serice has always been the best yet, no comparison...happy to be there on next Sunday with my little family comng from Spain and have a taste of one of the best places in Montreal-Westmount for an incredible experience. I have nothing but good words regarding the atmosphere and service. Truly top notch and homey -the kind of service yoh rarely ever get nowadays. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that there are so many extras. Coffee is extra, the ice cream that comes with the pie is extra. Those extras add up quickly.

Nick has been around for many years and it was fun to return for lunch. The place was crowded and quite noisy but sometimes that is fun. The waitresses were super friendly. The bench / table we sat in at the very back was so tight I was bumping knees with the person in front of me lol. Off to one side the kitchen door swings open and closed almost hitting the table. It’s all part of the fun! I had a cob salad and my boyfriend had the breakfast and it was all good.

I oddly love this place. It felt like home as soon as I entered. “Sit wherever you like”, they said. Service from Elizabeth was amazing: swift and caring. I will be back again and again.

eggs benedict was sooo good! i loved the potatoes and the eggs were poached perfectly. the iced latte was more like an iced coffee; tbh i would advise to just stick to their regular coffee and just not get espresso drinks probably. definitely a bit pricey, it was over $60 for two basic drinks and two mains.

Had a great experience at Chez Nick in Westmount. The restaurant has a charming old-school atmosphere, and knowing the building dates back to the 1920s gave it a nostalgic feel that sets it apart from many modern spots. I ordered the chicken brochette, and it was an easy 10/10—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The poutine was also very good, about an 8/10, with decent portions that left me full without being overwhelming. What really stood out was the amazing service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good comfort food and a bit of Westmount history.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We Loved It So Much We Came Back the Next Morning! My fiancé and I discovered this amazing little gem while visiting my great-aunt in Montreal this past weekend, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a rich history and charm that shines through in every detail of the décor. Knowing they’ve been serving customers since 1920 makes the experience even more special. The food was outstanding—fresh, healthy, delicious, and perfectly portioned. And the coffee? Incredible! As someone who appreciates a great coffee, I was thrilled to find they offered milk alternatives and perfectly frothed the oat milk. It was one of the freshest and best coffees I’ve had in a long time. One of the sweetest things I noticed was the little reservation signs at some of the counter seats for regular customers with their names on cards!🥰 I absolutely loved that. It spoke volumes about the sense of community and connection this restaurant has built over the years. It immediately reminded me of the old Cheers tagline: “Where everybody knows your name.” That’s exactly the feeling you get here—a place where people aren’t just customers, they’re part of the family. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back the very next morning! I had the opportunity to tell the owner how impressed we were, and it’s easy to see why this restaurant has such a wonderful reputation. The servers are top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The entire experience feels less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into the home of a close friend or family member who truly wants to take care of you. If you’re visiting Montreal, do yourself a favour and make a stop at Chez Nick. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression and has you planning your next visit before you’ve even left. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. We can’t wait to return the next time we make the trip from our little town of Bowmanville, Ontario. this is a Westmount institution that i have recently rediscovered. i have been twice recently for breakfast and service and food is terrific, with prices in line with lesser restaurants.
