I think I found my favorite tacos place. Tacos were 10/10. Birrias 10/10 as well! & I forgot to take pictures but the huaraches were delicious too.

Do yourself a favour and order their quesabirrias — you’ll thank me later 🤝🏻 Easily in my top 3 in Montreal for Mexican food. Super friendly staff, a great old-school vibe, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere.

I was there for my first time today. I had seen his granddaughters video the other day and i knew i had to go try it. I have been exploring little taco restaurants all over the island for about 3 months now. And i must say, Casa Tato has the absolute best tacos in all of Montreal and i have tried over 20 different mexican restaurants and so far these were the tastiest and freshest and best quality tacos i have eaten so far. And bonus for the free condiments station, that was very well thought out and i have yet to see that option at any other mexican restaurants. The only downfall is there is not much seating. But it was totally worth the drive and worth every penny and they will be seeing alot of me in the near future. Great Job Theo Tato.

Genuinely some of the best tacos I’ve had in Canada. I absolutely loved the quesa birria. Super impressed and am excited to try more! Was worth the 40 min journey haha

This place is THE place for tacos. No BS, just awesome tacos done the right way .Packed with authenticity and goodness. Tastes like family party at the back of the yard.Come hungry and go happy.
