The Food was good. My only problem was inside the restaurant, it was too cold! I had to eat my dinner with my jacket on
Reviews / Ratings for Casa Grecque
Casa Grecque has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with consistently good Greek comfort food and generous portions. The service really stood out—especially Adam, the busboy, who was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. Little touches like that made the whole dining experience even better.
Terrible food. Hard rice, old potatoes & the Cesar salade tasted horrible. No idea what happened to this place but will definitely never go there again. Audacity to charge 35$ per plate.
Everything was great!
What a lovely evening we spent at Casa Grecque! Staff are so welcoming and engaged. Food is delicious and overall atmosphere is so Greek and we felt like home! Loved it and will come back for sure!
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The décor is beautiful warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart is the owner Peter Chiotis the Icon, who genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in creating a memorable experience. From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything is consistently excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that always feels special
I went there nearly every week
Very good
My family and I love plentiful Greek salads and tangy appetizers, particularly during long, cold Quebec winters when delicious, plump red tomatoes are not in abundance. What I found at this spacious, well-decorated restaurant in Chomedey at the corner of St. Martin Blvd. and Daniel-Johnson Blvd. was far more than I could have imagined. We could barely finish these wonderful dishes which meant terrific leftovers for lunch the next day. But dessert was beckoning so we had to sample the ample portion of Baklava and the honey glazed Loukoumades. What a thoroughly enjoyable Greek delight. My wife loves Tiramisu and was very happy not to share her portion. I selflessly helped my son with his massive slice of delicious cheesecake which he totally adored. Stuffed and smiling we had no choice but to wait another day for the Apple and Caramel Pie. It was so worth the wait! There’s pretty much something for everyone on their menu so you cannot go wrong. The food came out quickly and came out piping hot so that you’re serving up a wonderful family meal at home a short time later. Between the side dishes and appetizers, there were so many Greek garlicky roasted potatoes. How do they get them so juicy? “I can’t share this secret,” Peter advised. I went overboard on these delicious side orders. @mtlrestorap
Don't bother; you can get better Greek food that isn't overpriced. The chicken was dry. Service was par at best. Waste of time and money; parents came in from out of town, what a huge disappointment.
When we arrived, we were seated immediately with two very friendly hosts. Once we got our table, the waiter (an older man with a whiteish-grey beard, glasses, and on the heavy side) came to us and introduced himself. We ordered drinks, and he then came back about five minutes later, bringing my drink and asking if we were ready. We said no because the menu had changed, and we were still reviewing it. He came back about 2 minutes later, and we were still not ready. He seemed a bit frustrated, as noted from his face. Once we were ready, we ordered. When the garlic bread arrived, there were no napkins, no knife for my wife. We asked, so he brought it to us. The food arrived; the chicken was dry. It was like going to an Arahova Souvlaki restaurant, where the service was better. We had to ask him again for cutlery when our food arrived, as there was no cutlery for me. The waiter did not come back to check if I needed more sparkling water or if everything was ok. We paid, left him a 10% tip (it should have been 0%) and were walking out when he ran after us. I accidentally took the merchant's and customer's visa receipts. He then asked if the service or food was an issue, and that is when I said yes. I told him he never came to the table once to see how everything was. I also told him there was no cutlery, and that we should not have to ask twice for items like napkins or cutlery. He said, "I was there and you could have asked me." I said That is not the point. It is not our job to ask you; it is your job to take care of us. I told him tips are earned, not assumed. He said the table has turned 3-4 times thus far, and it's not his responsibility or job to care if there is cutlery on the table. The new menu is, first of all, terrible... chicken is dry, the rice is lukewarm, and you pay over $60 for dry chicken and terrible service, where the waiter is nothing more than hungry for tips and provides poor service. To the older, heavy-set waiter who served us, if you can't provide good service, stay home! The restaurant writes back, saying, "If you had more class, maybe if you and your staff had more class, you would not have a rating of 3.9... and nasty comments." Don't bother eating here; the chicken is dry, and there are many better Greek restaurants around in Laval.
We celebrated our daughter’s wedding in the large room upstairs. It was a beautiful reception! The appetizers and all three food options were excellent. Everyone really raved about the food! The service was very good- all the employees were very accommodating and efficient. The only suggestion is to serve one table at a time because some people were eating while others were still waiting. Otherwise a really positive experience! Thank you for making my daughter’s day so special!
I recently visited Casa Grecque on Daniel-Johnson and was genuinely impressed. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, the prices were surprisingly friendly, especially considering the quality of the meals. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such great value without compromising on taste or service. If there was an option for a 6th Star Rating i would give it!
Amazing service
