Exceptional birthday dinner at Casa Galicia. The drive from Toronto was well worth it for the stunning ambiance and Domenic’s incredible service—including a Portuguese birthday song! Between the wonderful meal and the Valentine's Day rose, every detail was perfect. We loved the tradition of the bill collection on the wall and were happy to contribute 5 Euros to the display. Highly recommend this gem for any special occasion!

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, excellent paella, the best I've found in Montreal, an old-fashioned restaurant in all the right ways, attentive service, busy but not hectic or rushed, quiet enough for intimate conversation, but also lively with flamenco show and convivial ambience.

Amazing food, great service and perfect atmosphere. A bit Expensive I would say but we went for the Valentines day special 4 course meal, as we are not a couple that eat that much and we were not advised upon reservation about the special, we ended up paying 250$ for the food that we didn't even eat, i checked the website and the Valentines menu was there but no Price was mentioned and we were obligated to go for the 4 course meal. the Flamingo event was good.👍

Amazing place!! Good food, great service and perfect ambiance. The older gentleman named Fierno? It started with an F, absolutely amazing experience with him and the staff, felt so welcomed and like family!

The menu on their website (which was updated a day ago) is not the same as the menu at the restaurant. The prices are higher. The chef’s suggestion supposed to be included coffee (according website menu) they charged extra $5.50

Hi Nadya, Unfortunately those photos are not from our official website, those are client photos that Google compiles together, but it’s not our menu. That also appears to be a image posted from 9 years ago. All the items in the menu are different and so are all the prices.

That said, the claim that our waiter was intoxicated is a very serious allegation. Had there been a real concern, we would have welcomed the opportunity to address it immediately with management. We can confidently say that professionalism is something we take seriously, especially as a family-run restaurant. As for the atmosphere, we understand that our space may not appeal to everyone. Many of our guests, however, appreciate its character and charm, which we have chosen to preserve. If the food did not meet your expectations, we’re truly sorry — it’s never our intention to disappoint, and we continually strive to improve. Behind this restaurant are real people and families who work hard every day, and reviews do have a real impact on small businesses. We do hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future so we can offer you a better experience. Casa Galicia nails the cozy, casual, family-style spanish food was always meant to be experienced. The ambience turns bottles of wine into heartfelt toasts and the tapas will make you wish everyone joining your table would do so forever. May more people get to create wonderful memories here. As for me, my wife's 30th birthday here will be, for the time being, a tough one to beat.... Olé!

I was trying to give grace to this place due to the fact that our service fito (idk if it’s how we spell it) was great but I have to leave a review because I’ve been going thru hell since January 6 2026 I Got food poisoning, I ordered the cod bite and my friend got the sardines , after eating that everything was good until they brings me the pêcheur thing that the server recommended, I ate one shrimp and things started to go left I had to go to the bathroom to throw up everything that I ate , the whole night my belly was hurting and I was throwing up still at my friends place. Today we are January 10 , and my belly is still hurting and now have diarrhea, my belly is hurting so much that I feel like I’m going to pass out. I’m currently on the phone to go to the hospital while that I’m typing this reviews I’ve never experience this , it’s awful !

Sorry to hear about your current health situation. We do use the top and freshest ingredients in the market and we follow extremely strict food safety protocols. We don’t have any news about anyone else being sick from our food. And we eat the same shrimp and food that we serve our customers. Could it be the gastro that has been going around? This negative review really hurts the reputation of the restaurant. the fact that we didn’t even charge you for your food because you said you didn’t like it. It would be considerate to remove this comment as you can’t be 100% sure that we caused this illness. We served multiple people that night and they ate the same thing you did and nobody had reported being ill. blaming a restaurant for food poisoning is a pretty serious accusation during gastroenteritis season. Regardless if you decide to keep your comment or not, We sincerely wish you a speedy recovery.
