Had dinner at Cartrites and WOW. We tried the Bonanza Burger with poutine and the Buffalo Chicken Poutine and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was LOADED with toppings and portions were huge, but somehow the prices were still incredibly wallet friendly. You could tell the kitchen staff were working up a storm cutting fresh fries and keeping everything moving. The staff were polite, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment we walked in. Even the placemats saying “Bienvenue / Welcome” matched the atmosphere perfectly because that’s exactly how it felt. With a large menu, colouring for kids, and even a TV near the bar, it really felt like a place that accommodates everyone. Honestly, I would rate this place higher than 5 stars if I could. Definitely worth the trip to Shawville.
