I've been coming to this restaurant for a few years. I've been reading the negative reviews. Yes they're slow on time (which is why i always call an advanced and stay patient) the food is spot on, best jamaican food I've had in Montreal. Yes you might have times where they run out but they always make effort to add something replacement, no dumplings? They'll add more veggies or plantains. No plantains? They'll give you more of something else. They're always open and low on staff. BE PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING GUYS. I can see they're hard working! Much love and respect. Great food is worth the wait! After waiting 15 minutes to order and no one coming to take my order, I kind of stood at the entrance and yelled a hello. An older gentleman came and took my order, he looked inebriated. Another 15 minutes for the food to arrive, and it comes in a to go bag. If I would have wanted my food to go, I could’ve ordered Uber Eats. The gentleman did not ask me if i wanted him to change it to a plate .. just a “you cah manage”? It would have atleast been nice to have been offered some cutlery instead of just a plastic fork and my fingers. The food was ok. Plantain was a bit undercooked and the rice and peas were dry even though I asked for gravy. The fried chicken and the dumpling was good.

Shitty service all-around. Their online services is especially a MESS. Half the time items are missing, or out of stock (even though the option is shown online). Whats the point of ordering if you’re just gonna get smth completely different than what you had asked for?

Fast and friendly service Hands down best jerk chicken i’ve ever had. Amazing oxtail and saltfish too. Run by a sweet old man. Beats every expensive place i’ve tried in saint henri, for half the price. Go support!

These people are so unserious. I placed an order on DoorDash at 7:30 and it was 9:30 I still did not receive my order when I called them the lady said she just started her shift and they change shift at 9 am that is why it’s taking so long. I have never had problems like that with other restaurants and yet they change shift too. Besides that I placed my order at 7:30. While the food is good, the customer service is the worst!
