Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The ambience and décor are beautiful—warm, inviting, and full of character—and the impeccable, genuinely friendly staff make you feel right at home. You can really feel the care and passion behind this family-owned restaurant. The food was outstanding. The swordfish crudo was a standout, and the lamb croquettes, salmon tartare, chicken cordon bleu, and steak frites were all among my favourites. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and left us wanting to try even more of the menu. Make sure to save room for dessert—they’re just as impressive. They also have a fantastic wine selection and a great cocktail list to round out the experience. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, and truly warm hospitality. I highly recommend checking this place out—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

The octopus and calamari at Caméléon were cooked to perfection. Every dish was bursting with flavour, and the service was excellent . The staff made our evening truly special. It is a must-visit spot for an unforgettable meal!

I ate here 3 times already. The service is great, staff is friendly and attentive, the food is very tasty and the menu has just enough variety. What's great about the terrace is that it's on a street closed to traffic, so no cars and all the noise and dust that come with them. Very cool, modern vibe.

The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is unlike any other restaurant. I’ve been about 5 times since the opening and it just keeps on getting better and better. Highly suggest it to anyone who’s looking to have a fantastic meal along side amazing vibes.

Love this new addition to the already amazing Bernard street food theme - find the menu more creative than some other old school places on Laurier while maintaining its classic French charm. The terrasse is beautiful + service is very good (rare in Montreal, but consistent on this stretch of Bernard street among all the restaurants)

I would never go back. Good was good. But they were reuse and rushed the service. They brought the main courses before we finished the appetizers. There are so many good restaurants in the city. Why go to place that rushes you out. Avoid this place. Staff and managers are pretentious.

We went to Caméléon this week for the first time. What a wonderful experience! Everything was top notch from start to end. The simple reservation process, the friendly greeting at the front by hostess, the lovely decor and then the wine selection and food options are so well curated. The staff are each knowledgeable ,helpful and professional. The food was delicious, inspired and sourced with very fresh ingredients. Menu options were varied and dishes were served in a timely fashion. We could tell that a lot of thought and heart went into to creating this gem of a restaurant sure to become a Montreal staple. I could not say enough about this wonderful terrasse indoor/outdoor experience. Bravo to the wonderful owners and chef!!!

10 out of 10 is how she rated the risotto. I’d say the same about the steak. Amazing service, amazing food, and I love what they did with the place. Will definitely go back to try other options on the menu!

Fantastic new restaurant in Outremont, from the folks responsible for the equally-fantastic Le Carré downtown. I had the opportunity to enjoy excellent two lunches at Caméléon during my annual Jazz Festival stay in the city. The dishes are all thoughtful, great care is given to the sourcing of ingredients with emphasis placed on using Québec products. Service is attentive, all recommendations are on-point, be they food or beverage. In addition to the attractive interior, pleasant terrace dining is available on a summertime pedestrian-only stretch of Av. Bernard. You owe it to yourself to take in a meal at Caméléon, sooner rather than later!!
