I've always loved ricardo's online recipes, so when I finally decided to come see his restaurants I was expecting something good. First, the waitress never came to see us so an other waitress seing us unattended came to take our order. I asked about the croque madame and was told it was a very consistent meal with a sandwich and salad on the side. A croque madame is by definition a croque monsieur with an egg on top. When I received my plate all I got was a toast with some bechamel on top and some bacon and the plate was full of salad you couldn't even see the small toast, I was very surprised as it just felt like a ceasar salad and not actually a croque madame. At the end the waitress said that thats how a croque madame has always been made ? So the menu was very misleading and for the price, having a single toast and a plate full of salad was a bit of a stretch. What's even funnier is that on ricardo's website, it shows what a croque madame actually is, and it's very far from what they served me. I hope they'll change their menu to better fit what they actually serve.
