We stopped for breakfast and ordered a chocolate croissant. After waiting for a long time, the staff told us it was out of stock. However, we noticed that customers who ordered after us were still being served the same item. This was disappointing and felt unfair. Considering the price, the experience didn’t feel worth it.

We ordered a fruit tart and two lattes. The cashier asked if our order was "to go" or "for here." We specified that we wished to dine in. It is noteworthy that "to go" orders are served in paper cups, while "for here" orders are served in ceramic cups. Upon being called to collect our coffee, I observed that our hot drinks were served in "to go" cups. I politely indicated our preference for "for here" cups. This request was met with a look of surprise, suggesting that it had not been previously communicated. Consequently, I had to recall our initial conversation with the cashier to clarify our original request. I trust you will not encounter a similar experience.

Absolutely loved my experience at Cafe La Maison Smith in Quebec City! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. Their coffee was excellent, and everything was beautifully presented. Must try their Almond Croissant, tarts, cookies and muffins. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Quebec City!

We got matcha with soy, breakfast bagel, and butter croissant. Everything tastes amazing, and actually the matcha is one of the best that I’ve had - nice foam even with soy milk. The window view with the chapel is also a plus.

Delicious! Loved the latte and matcha. My husband had the croissant smith, and I had a slice of the quiche. Lovely food, great temperature.

The croissant was crazzzzzzy good and the iced caramel latte was incredible. Was I sleep deprived?…. Yes. Do I think that played a role in how good it tasted? …. Also yes. However, I went there 7 months ago and I’m still thinking about it.

Amazing café! I was visiting from Ottawa, and this was the perfect place for breakfast. The mochaccino, hot chocolate, and butter croissant were all delicious. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome, despite my limited French. The view outside the café with the church was the cherry on top. A wonderful experience overall!

Espresso it is good But I ordered cappuccino after my espresso and the girl forgot to make it (the café it wasn’t realy busy too)and after a told her she make it but whit the coffee was there allready 5 min on front of me Milk non realy hot On the end the cappuccino it was realy bad….

After a cold morning walk on the Plains of Abraham, we went to the lower town. Coffee shop right in Place Royale in a historic building. Cozy on a winter morning. One of the best oat milk lattes I’ve ever had. Delish almond croissant. Partner had a regular latte and cinnamon roll. He thought the roll was a bit dry. Outside seating in the summer. Limited inside seating. Did not see any bathrooms. Friendly, bilingual staff.
