I recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go, as it’s very busy and you might not find a table. Philip who took care of me provided very kind and excellent service. I ordered the fish of the day, which was served with a starter and pasta on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious.

This place is amazing, celebrated my friend’s birthday last night and we really enjoyed it so much. The service was probably what made our night, our server James really was the sweetest and most attentive! Great food and drinks too, and super cute for pictures. Will definitely go back!

One of the best spots in downtown Montreal! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We visited a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend’s graduation and this place did not disappoint. We loved the terrace and the ambient lighting. When the staff found out my friend was graduating, they brought out a free drink! Our server, James, was the best. Highly recommend!

Great service, always present to serve wine. Beautiful little terrasse, far from the city noises. Had a great date with my girl, even had limoncello shots on the house! The garlic spaghetinni wasn't quite my type, but the shrimp fettucinnis were delicious! Will definitely come back soon!

Wow. What an amazing night. The food was absolutely delicious. The gnocchi are to die for, I crave it all the time. James was incredibly attentive an went the extra mile to make me and my friends have the most incredible night. Thank you so much for such a great evening!

I had my wedding last year in that place. We couldn’t ask for a better day. The food was amazing and the terrasse is just so beautiful. The owner was really kind and made the planning easy for us. Would recommend that place to anyone and I’ll be heading to Il Cortile for our yearly anniversaries.

I had high expectations going to this restaurant but alas, left disappointed. Positives: Nice courtyard, excellent service Negatives: The only things Italian were the meal names and the music in the background. Weak welcome but very good service throughout. Negatives: Very underwhelming food. Penne tasted store bought and the pesto on the tomatoes were flavourless. And the desert menu? Key Lime pie? Blueberry cheesecake? Not exactly Italian staples!! Given the very expensive meal, I wish I could have had a delicious meal and authentic experience. Hopefully the restaurant takes note and improves things.

I tried the seafood pasta, the spaghetti was a bit dry, in general was ok. Service was great! Next time i will try another pasta!

This is restaurant is the best pasta place in Montreal for me. The food is amazing and honestly suits our taste even more than some of the pasta I had in Italy. The atmosphere is great and the service is always warm and attentive. Every visit feels comforting and memorable. If one day I move back to China, this is definitely one of the place I will miss the most.

I had an amazing birthday supper at this cozy hidden restaurant! I ordered fettuccine with shrimp and tomato sauce, and the chef’s generous amount of shrimp made me really happy. For dessert, I had a cheesecake, and it was also delicious. Finally, I appreciate the server for being attentive and kind throughout the night, which made my experience at this restaurant unforgettable and I definitely would return. Thank you so much!!

I had a birthday dinner here for my friend, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The lasagna I had was amazing, and they added pepper and cheese at the table to our preferred amount, which was a lovely touch. I also had mango gelato, which was so nice and chewy just like real mango. Overall, both the meal and dessert were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy, and I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace next time.
