Café Dépôt in Brossard is a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed café experience with quality drinks and simple, satisfying food. I recently stopped by and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was solid—smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what you’d expect from a reliable neighborhood café. But the standout for me was the matcha latte, which is easily the best I’ve had on the South Shore. They use a traditional bamboo whisk, and you can genuinely taste the difference—it brings out a richer, more authentic flavor and a smoother texture compared to the usual quick-mix versions. I was there with my kid, who tried the veggie sandwich and really enjoyed it. It was fresh, well-made, and a nice healthy option that still felt like a treat. Overall, the atmosphere is comfortable, the service is friendly, and the attention to detail—especially with the matcha—sets this location apart. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
