I love the croissants of this place!! And the coffee! The place is very comfortable, and well maintained. Next to the metro. The guys are always very nice.

It has been 3 times in April that I go there at around 8:30-9 AM and it is closed while on the door the schedule is from 8 AM!
I had an unbelievably frustrating experience at Cafe Depot Gelato. I ordered an espresso érable-cassonade with cold foam, and what I got was a complete joke. There was absolutely no flavour, it tasted like watered-down coffee with barely any milk, and there wasn’t even any cold foam despite it being part of the order. How do you mess up something that basic? I couldn’t even finish the drink because it was so bad it actually made me feel sick. The service was painfully slow, about 15 minutes per drink, which is completely unacceptable for a coffee shop. And it wasn’t just my order. The staff member was clearly overwhelmed and kept messing up multiple drinks, making the wait even worse for everyone. What’s even more concerning is that he was literally checking the recipes and still couldn’t get anything right. That points to a serious lack of training and quality control. The most shocking part? Being told they had run out of milk. At a coffee shop. In the middle of the day. That alone says everything about how poorly this place is run. If you can’t make drinks properly, you shouldn’t be serving them at all. Between the flavourless drink, missing ingredients, extremely slow service, constant mistakes, and overall disorganization, this experience was beyond disappointing. It was honestly ridiculous. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
Thursday, April 9, 3:00 PM – I have never been this disappointed in a coffee shop in my life. I went to try a Strawberry Coral, a milky strawberry drink, and what I was served was strawberry with black coffee. Yes, black coffee with strawberry. Completely wrong and makes no sense. We immediately told the barista that the drink shouldn’t have coffee. He insisted he hadn’t added any, only to realize a few minutes later that he actually had put coffee in it and then laughed at me and my friends. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. When I asked for the correct drink, he made the second drink completely wrong again, saying he “didn’t put strawberry” even though it is literally in the name. Instead, he gave me some other berry drink with coffee and extra syrup. The third attempt was still wrong. He claimed they “don’t have milk anymore” after I had already paid, but still served it. Had I known before paying, I would not have ordered anything. I arrived at 3:00 PM and didn’t get my drink until 3:30 PM. I was almost late for my class. There was a huge line, and each drink took at least 15 minutes to make. I wouldn’t have minded the long wait if my drink had been the right drink, but it was one disappointment after another. I spoke to other customers, and they had the same problem. Everyone got their drinks wrong. This experience was more than just disappointing. It was devastating. It ruined what was supposed to be a simple coffee run, and it left me feeling frustrated, upset, and honestly depressed. Serving black coffee with strawberry, refusing accountability, and laughing at mistakes is completely unacceptable. I cannot overstate how awful this experience was. I will never return, and I would strongly warn anyone else considering this place to stay far away. Since I can't get a refund, I have to force myself to drink it.
Wanted a London fog and they made me a London fog :)
Ordered on uber, two breakfast bagels and an iced coffee. It took 30 minutes to make 2 bagels. If I had been in store I would have left. One of the bagels was not toasted, nor properly wrapped, and it ended up being totally unwrapped and really messy. I got wet tomato all over my hands trying to take it out of the bag, just to have to reassemble the sandwhich and it tastes like chalk because the bagel is not cooked. The coffee lid doesn't even work? The pull back tab to drink out of does not stay open?

It's always the same excuse, "sorry I forgot to scan your loyalty card" this didn't happen once or twice, it happened 4 times. I always let them know that I would like to scan my loyalty card and they say after you pay. Okay no problem but after paying they go make the drink and tap out of the transaction and say I forgot. It looks you guys are trained to not scan the loyalty card??? Cuz what's the point of having one if your purposely not wanting to scan it. Like you guys don't want us to get rewards??? 🙄
